Play Dead (2022)

An alright watch

The movie was rather well done, if slow at times.

Obviously, much of what happens in this movie wouldn't be possible in real life, but that's the point of movies is it not?

The acting is good, and there is more than enough suspense to keep you watching. At times it was slow, but it is still worth watching I think.

If you like movies like "Hush" or "Dont Breathe" then this is along the lines of something you may enjoy.

I will say that it is rather predictable, but if you're alright with that sort of thing don't pass up 'Play Dead'.

Nope (2022)

Incredibly boring

Nope is greatly over-hyped and incredibly boring. The story is so slow that it leaves you just wanting it to end. There is very little action, and the characters aren't that well developed, which makes it difficult to immerse yourself.

I didn't even finish the movie because I ended up deciding halfway through that it was a waste of my time. It had potential, but didn't do much with what it had.

I would advise others to skip this movie (Nope out), because by the time you get to the end you're going to wish you spent more time on TikTok watching parts 2, 3, and 4 of a video instead.

This isn't a good movie. Spend your time elsewhere.

Bones and All (2022)

Surprisingly good

It starts off a little slow at the beginning, but it gets better as the show goes on.

It's gory and emotional, with well-developed characters that make you feel and create a film well worth the watch.

I do like the thought process and what exactly life would be like if we were born so different than others in a way that could make us 'monstrous' in the eyes of 'normal' people. How do these people fit into society? How can they live and love when they have a desire to consume the flesh of others? How can you be normal when there is no possible way to be? How do you survive when survival itself requires such a horrible price?

Bones and all is definitely one of my favourite movies currently, and it seriously is worth watching.

Morbius (2022)

It's alright I guess

The movie in and of itself is okay at best. Like graphics are good, but Jared Leto once again performed poorly, which seems to be a common factor to movies he stars in. I would say his role as Morbius is one of his better one, but even that isn't saying much.

The plot is very predictable, as I guessed immediately that "Milo" would become the villain of the movie, and that Doctor Martine would be turned as well.

I would say the best acting was done by Adria Arjona, as her character was the most relatable and developed.

If you like sub-par vampires this is a movie to watch! It's cliche, even if Morbius and Milo can be in daylight without issues, but that's about it and even that isn't original.

Fear Clinic (2014)

Meh

It was alright. Not super exciting or scary though. Kinda a show to watch in the background while doing other things. Had potential, but didn't do much with it.

The acting is sub-par, and its really sad because it was a movie that could've been up there, but it's not even as good as "Truth or Dare" and even "Smile" was more interesting.

I guess if you have a phobia some scenes might be uncomfortable for you, but otherwise it's not scary in the slightest. There's some twists that you don't expect, but any effect they would've had was lost in translation/the lack of effective acting.

Waste of time to watch. Spend your time on something else.
