Merlí. Sapere Aude (2019)
Homage to a drama from Cataluña
What a beautiful series this has been. I hadn't realised it was a follow-up to an earlier drama, so I shall be searching out the original now. But as for this, I found it to be utterly beguiling. Every character was so believable, with all the frailties and vulnerabilities of youth, but with marvellous performances from 'older' cast members too. It felt effortlessly authentic, a testament to the level of acting, direction and production of all involved. Beautiful and so moving.

Beautiful Catalan drama
I'm only three episodes in, but felt compelled to write a review already; the understated beauty of every performance is utterly beguiling. I'm hooked. The characters are so believable, their frailties and vulnerabilities, it's quite a revelation from the usual youth/college dramas. It is effortlessly authentic, but I know huge effort has gone into each aspect of this drama. Ben fet a tots els implicats.
The West Wing: And It's Surely to Their Credit (2000)
Late to the party
I realise I'm somewhat late to the West Wing party. But goodness how I'm enjoying it. And this latest episode, S2 Ep5 is genius; writing, acting, pacing, the full shiboodle.
