Hustle (2022)
Could have been an all time great movie
Adam Sandler is amazing. All the real life basketball players represented here across generations is very exciting. However, the main theme of the movie seems to be about fathers. Bo Cruz finds a fatherly figure in Sugerman, however, I think the movie spent too much time on Basketball drills and less on that side. If only they had explore that theme more - Adam Sandler has shown in several movies that he can pull that off, then this movie would have been amazing. As it stand, this movie is a above average movie.

South Indians got it wrong
I see too many people complaining about the movie not being true to South India - please just stop it. Bollywood/Hollywood basically any film maker is never going to showcase a place exactly how it is - they are trying to make a movie, bring their own perspective, characters and vision to it. They are not making a documentary. If you want culture represented accurately, go to a Museum or pickup a Book or go watch a play. Also, the fact that the actors speak or don't speak a particular language makes zero difference in the movie. Stop with your politics.
That being said, why the movie doesn't work is simply because the script sucks. Plain and simple. There's really not a lot going on in the story. Sanya's amazing acting and the brilliant visuals hide the fact that this is a very badly written movie with various scenes bound together incoherently. The script seems like it was inspired over a Whatsapp chat by some uncles trying to pass time.
The concept of long distance relationships and family is not explored well starting with the underlying premise - "Only single people are allowed to work in my company." Well not only is that not legal, there's no way you can ever enforce that. So completely illogical to begin with. Secondly, the fact that we can't stay together in Bangalore because family members might drop by makes zero sense either. If they drop by as they just did later in the movie, you just go home to see them after office. What's the problem with that? How would they really know? Simple to solve problems are brought up repeatedly and the characters just foolishly roll with it with no conflict at all.
Overall, 10/10 for Sanya's acting, 10/10 for visuals, 10/10 for the concept, but 0/10 for the script and that's what kills the movie for me.

Could've been way better than it was
This series has a good premise and plot. However, everything else is so bad that I could hardly watch it. Even amateur YouTubers have better direction and script writing skills than this series. Abhay Deol sleeps throughout the series. Seems like he owed the producers a favor. Ritika Anand should never get in front of the camera. Just because you are producing the series does not mean you have to act in it too. She looks lost and totally out of place. Pankaj Kapoor and Piyush Mishra have been so underutilized that it's criminal. For a science series, the science is all over the place. For example, the earth's rotation has absolutely nothing to do with the bending in the space time. Also, please no one ever use the bending of paper and running a pencil through it. It has been done so much that it's boring. Overall, a great concept so poorly done that it came out as a parody of itself.

Too much cliches for my taste
If this is the first sci-fi war hero flick you are watching, then you may find it interesting. If not, this thing is too full of cliches and genre tropes that it's unbearable to watch.
