Come Back, Little Sheba (1977)
oh my gosh!!! this movie was so "unquie"
OK so basically this lady is like going crazy and her husband used 2 b an alcoholic.....and they have art student living with them...anyways the old lady is like calling 4 her dead dog every morning...and the old dude is like on the verge of suicide through out the entire movie and they think that Marie (carrie fisher) is all "nice" but every night her and dirk are...."making the love"...i swear to god thats what the old lady refers to it as.....in the end the old dude gets totally wasted and gets sent to the crazy farm (mental hospital).....then he comes back and his wife is all like sad and like scared of him and he starts crying and then u're like is that the ending?? they sit me threw this totally boring movie and u leave me with an old guy crying?? not cool
Shampoo (1975)
this was an awesome movie
i was most definitely way too young when i saw this movie. but however i did enjoy it. a couple of parts were very....inappropriate for a 10 year old. basically the whole movie was watching Warren Beatty do it with people. at the time i didn't understand half of what they said. And when Carrie fisher said "So do you wanna f**k??" i had no idea what that meant. As i said early i was to little to understand the movie. but now that i'm older i understand it better and understand what they are saying. overall it was a good movie, the acting was good and it was pretty funny...i guess. and this was Carrie fisher's first film, the original reason why i watched it in the first place.
Romancing the Bride (2005)
romantic comedy plus Carrie Fisher = a lot of laughs
Carrie had me laughing throughout the whole movie! (I originally watched this because she was in it, now I'd watch it again for the movie itself.) I love romantic comedies and Carrie Fisher, so the two together it's like WHOA!! The plot was really good...Melisa married a total stranger the day before her wedding and she has to get the whole thing like annulled, and she has this control freak mother, Edwina (who is played by Carrie Fisher) who is like in freak mode the entire movie. In the end she chooses to leave Bryan (her fiancé) and go with Carlos. I loved the part where Edwina says:"Nothingis impossible. It's just possible with I M in front of it. You see I-M possible." I often use that when people say things are impossible!!
Frankenstein (1984)
pretty cool movie
this was the only Frankestein movie i had ever seen and it was awesome. yeah some parts were a little cheesy, like the part when Frankestien hugs the little boy (Henry) so hard he dies. i thought i was going to die of laughter!! not that the kid dies just the way he dies....no matter how you put that it still sounds bad. oh well it's one of those you have to see it to get it sort of things. The cast is good. The movie stars Carrie Fisher, Robert Powell, and David Warner.the acting was good , and i loved everyone's costume!!! the make up was good too, Frankenstein did a very believable performance. and Carrie fisher, who plays Elizabeth, was very good too. she was very charming and i loved like all of her dresses...pretty cool. this was a very good movie considering that it was a TV movie and the budget they probably had.
She's Back (1989)
not the best movie Carrie fisher was in
OK this movie was really "unique" shall we say. Carrie Fisher was by far the most talented in the movie, even though it is said she had a coke problem during the movie. but she said that she can't remember to much of it. well thats her excuse but whats everyone else's??? i can't imagine they all had a coke problem.whatever it wasn't all that bad i mean i guess the plot was OK and it had some pretty funny moments. although the part where the guy gets that thing shoved in his head was a little too violent for my taste. oh well i guess i was disappointed cause Carrie fisher is like so awesome and this movie did nothing for her.
