All That (1994–2020)
I HATE YOU NICK CANNON!!! YOU SUCK!!!!
1 September 2001
Geez! I just had to get that out!! I miss Lori Beth! She was my favorite and I wanted to be an actress just like her! I used to preform her Vital Information at my lunch table and keep my friends howling.

Then she left and they put Nick Cannon on instead. Why? Why? People used to clap wildly and when V.O came on. Lori Beth would sit there and blush, modestly smiling as the audience demanded more. Then the worst thing happened. I walked out of the shower, drying my hair, and asked, "Who'd they kick off?" I'd seen a new cast member, and that meant one of the originals was gone. Certainly not my Lori Beth! After all, she was funny and in the prime of her career. My mom said, "It's Lori Beth!" I was shocked! And to put the icing on the cake, they replaced her with Nick Cannon, one of the worst actors I have ever seen, and who is constantly ripping off Kel Mitchell's humor! All That used to be about quality. It used to be about side splitting laughter. But now, it, like the god awful Rugrats, is another great show gone to pot by evil money loving Herb Scandell. Avoid if Lori Beth isn't in the beginning, because the show should stopped when she did!

Dexter's Laboratory (1996–2003)
I think America just went on a diet...
30 August 2001
While put up there it may not sound very funny, but to me that's hysterical, and it's the line that got me hooked on this show. While I was a little nervous about watching it at first (my mom's strict and she hates just about everything except those incredibly stupid Klasky-Csupo cartoons.), soon I was able to catch my first my intro to it on JBVO. It was the ep where Dexter and Dee Dee compete to be Major Glory's sidekick, and I thought the beginning good, the middle good, and the ending especially good. Anyone who doesn't like this show needs a catscan! 9/10 because of some of the violence, but it's never to the extreme like the PowerPuff Girls (who are still good, but not in the prime of their cartoon careers!).

Mike, Lu & Og (1999–2001)
This show has it's moments...

It can get dull at points, but when it gets funny, it's hysterical! I don't think it's CN's best, but definitely not it's worse (That prize goes to about ninety percent of the stuff on the Cartoon Cartoon show!)! I agree Lancelot is really cute! Too bad CN couldn't promote this show a little more. I'd like a little stuffed Lancelot and Mike would look really good on a T-shirt!

Histeria! (1998–2000)
Well, I liked it...
15 August 2001
My mother took one look at the theme song and declared that it was the stupidest thing she'd every seen! I thought she was bizarre! This show kept me laughing to no end. Even today as I sit here writing I'm still laughing at "Women Leaders in Group Therapy" as I play it in my head. I learned some interesting things that they don't bother teaching in school (The origins of the weekday names is one thing, Aztec Gods is another! You know, interesting stuff!)! I still catch this every now and then, and I laugh at reruns that I've already seen. So I recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor. As for my mother, she's living happily ever after, complaining about everything I like, from "Histeria" to "Dexter's Lab" to "Cats Don't Dance." What can I do about her? (Sell her at the next yard sale...J/K. Sort of.)

One of the greatest animated movies! Period!
15 August 2001
The animation is startlingly spectacular! Watch the ally scene and the animals when they start to dance to the music! It's breathtaking ride you won't want to end! The villain is so evil she's funny, and Max the Butler gets the best line: "How does the kitty cat go?" The end sequence on stage is extraordinary! To the person who said the time isn't dated, the time is 1939, because "Gone with the Wind" is coming out in theaters in the beginning! For 30s and 40s movie lovers like me, it's a wonderful treat you'll latch onto and never let go!

Animaniacs (1993–1998)
I am an absolute addict to 30s and 40s, or parodies of such...
15 August 2001
So when I watched the beginning sequence and saw (to my astonishment!) the Animaniacs jump out of paper and jump in TEX AVERY'S arms, that was it. I vowed never to dis this show, and so far I think I've done well. The only complaint I have are the Hippos, Flavio and Marita, who bore me to the point of leaving the room until the others come on! And Rita and Runt, who some have deemed painful and useless, I think are solid characters who deserve to be recognized along with Pinky and the Brain, Slappy and Skippy, and others. In the episode where Rita and Runt temporarily adopt "puppies" , I cried until the end of the short, which longer than I did when I saw "Pearl Harbor" and "Titanic." Highly recommended (then again, I love anything remotely related to Tex Avery, and using him in a cameo insured my love of the show.)

(long sigh) Bland...
10 August 2001
at least it was for me. Matthew Broderick is a good actor and all, but the only thing he could offer in this movie was his looks. His voice was all wrong! Broderick is too soft spoken, while the cartoon Gadget had a harsh, nasal sound to him that made him instantly recognizable. Even the music video was a drag. Nothing to offer us fans, except the bloopers at the end where Brain speaks, and I yelled out, "It's him! It's Gadget! That's him!" amid stares. At least Captain C. wasn't in this.

Inspector Gadget (1983–2023)
Do yourself a favor, loyal fans...
10 August 2001
Grab a bowl of popcorn, sit back and watch this classic again! Forget the movie, which everyone will enjoy as long as they've never seen the original. My 9 year old brother is watching our old recorded episodes at this very moment, and I'm having more fun than he is! The only thing I never liked about this series was that useless Captain Corpal or whatever who followed Gadget around and made Gadget look like Einstein! For some reason, he bugged me (it may have to do with the episode where he tied up Brain when all Brain was doing was saving the shrunken Gadget!!)

Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999–2008)
Dorks!!! (I'm not talking about the TV show; I'm talking about you!)
6 June 2001
What is wrong with you people? This show is great! The animation is the most unique thing on TV, even better than my faves (Hey Arnold, Dexter, and Tenchi)! I'm falling in love more and more with this TV show everyday. My best friends and I are like Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy. Not in looks, obviously cause we're all girls, but in personailty! I'm the dumb one who will blurt out anything for a laugh and stays glued to the TV, Sara is the cautious one who loves science and hates trouble, and Destoni is the short schemer and dreamer. I mean, come on. Get out of denial and watch this show. I admit, I thought it looked dumb and avoided it for the first season, but my friends online talked about it, so I sat down with my brother. My first thought was, "Well, this is original. Better than I thought." The next half hour, I laughed until I cried. This show is in no way predictable (except that the heroes will get into trouble) and is in no way dull! Bravo to those of you who have the taste and guts to stand up and say how great this masterpiece really is!
