Action with a twist !
11 June 2013
Not what I expected. A great use of all the talent involved. Smart, witty, funny w/ an awesome ending I didn't expect. Not your typical short that you see at every film festival. Every level is top notch in this short. While everyone is shooting digital, this director took a chance on super 35 film, something you don't see everyday, especially on short films. Everything looks crisp and clean, and very sharp, while the story, short of course, gets to the point right away. Nothing lost here, time is not wasted, that's the thing about short films, some are boring, even in a short time span. This one, keeps you interested on different layers, for the time allotted it delivers. Look forward to seeing more from this director!

ego maniac

Killing the Badge is such an ego trip, Nick Sturghill should be guilty as charged. The movie is so boring, I fell asleep. The action scenes were good but hey, he must have hired professionals. Nick has plastered his name in every credit he can and it shows because the movie sucked. Please Nick do not make any more movies because one can expect your movie to star you, playing your mother, brother, father, dog, neighbor, sister, etc. and of course it will be directed by you, starring yous, casted by you, shot by you, catered by you, distributed by you from the back seat of your car. Well you get the picture, if you want to see an ego maniac picture see this one, it is boring and stars Nick twice as the wanna be Shaft. Two thumbs down, because Nick is the clown.
