Andor (2022)
Greatest Star Wars show
Whoever thinks this is slow and therefore bland doesn't understand cinema. Greatest stories always takes their time, carefully planning, introducing themes and strong characters. And this has it all plus perfectly dirty visuals, very confident writing, creative music, strong actors and director who knows what he wants.
This is so far the greatest Disney plus show and also Star Wars show but not only that but it's great even for not Star Wars fans because themes are universal and you don't even need some special Star Wars knowledge. It's everything I hoped for Obi-Wan. Finally something creative from strong crew and it shows. I have great hopes for this. This is it. Almost like HBO drama.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part III (2022)
Feels like fanfilm
I still don't understand why this looks like low budget fanfilm. Cinematography, directing, costumes, sets. It all feels so amateurish. And that music? It's so cheap and generic beyond belief. You have so many themes and when Vader shows up and later fighting with Obi we hear only some buuum, buum and that's it. Why this important show has so tiny budget? Imagine this show as a movie with real talented AAA director, composer and real writers, maybe even Filoni. Why we got this instead?
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 7: In the Name of Honor (2022)
Uninspired
Well that one was a bit boring but mostly it was uninspired. No clever dialogue, no plot, just nothing. And sadly whole show was like that besides out of place cameos of Luke etc. Five episodes of nothing, Boba deserved better. Please hire more writers and not just Jon Favreau.
