As far as videogame adaptations go to the film form factor. I went into this with relatively low expectations. However I can honestly say I was that I was left quite surprised! The first half of the film was initially a bit slow. However pacing picks up a bit in the second act. Was nice to see nods to the game , set pieces looks great. Monsters themselves looks pretty good! All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. Just a bit annoyed it was left on a classic sequel hanger.
