A twist of events i haven't expected at all
9 February 2021
Yeah, Gokhan is such an unpredictable writer..when you think you might know what's gonna happen next, Gokhan says "You're wrong! Surprise)))".

A jump of 2 years- that's powerful for an episode still 10-15 episodes far away from final, but it made me even more excited about the upcoming events. It somehow reminded me as a mix of the final episode S1 and starting episode of S2. Cool!

This was the hardest episode for me to watch, due to the Yamac being tortured this way((((( i felt really really bad for Yamac and the things he is going through...a heartbreaking picture to look at.. Actually i always wonder if Aras feels ok after such magnificent performances..It was another masterclass of acting!!! This man made me feel every pain, helpless and sufferings of his character..the way he transforms into and lives his character leaves me always speechless, so i have nothing more to add at the moment..Brilliant! Brilliant! Turkey's National Treasure!

Feeling super curious what happend to other characters during these 2 years.

By the way, the scene when Emmy and Alico understood that the man behind them is Yamac made me cry so so so soooooo much;(((((

What a heartbreaking last scene!💔
2 February 2021
Aras, your acting is beyond imagination..You can teach more than half of Hollywood how to act! Last scene made me cry😭 It's 10/10 only because of Aras' performance, especially in the end, he saved the whole episode... Akin seems to be the happiest groom, but that happiness wouldn't last for too long..Yamac doesn't even need enemies, when his family is the worst one.. they don't deserve him.. Yamac, Vartolu, Efsun- these characters seems to be loved the most by Gokhan, because he tortures them soooo much;(( Gokhan, i beg you, don't kill Yamac's second love- Efsun.. Aras, your acting so true...you leave earthquakes in my heart and tsunamis in my eyes...Love you so much, magical man!!!!

I laughed and worried the whole episode

Amazing episode. Only Gokhan can make such a great humour in such a dark situation. Hope everybody will be fine, hope Akin didn't die! Actually i believe Gokhan prepared a totally different death for him, in case he will die.. and i'm still waiting for the scene when Yamac finds out that Akin is involved in Idris' death..oh yeah! Oh, thank you finally for bringing Vartolu back, now i look forward to seeing his return to Cukur and the scenes with Yamac and the whole family. looking forward to seeing his reaction about Selim's death and the way he'll discover that! Go Cukur!! There are still so many interesting scenario lines to be discovered.. I am so addictive to this story, characters..to this tv serie..

Thank you Cukur for another great episode

I am in love with the Gokhan's style of writing the scenario and the way he pays attention to the details. That bullet! Who would even remember about it???? Yamac kept that bullet till that day, till the day when he kills Cengiz.. how cool is that?! And it seems that there is no limit for Gokhan's fantasy.. who would even wonder that there was kiwi tea in the IV infusion instead of poison? Gengiz thought he was gonna die of poison, therefore he shoot himself instead of facing the infusion effect. Yamac killed Gengiz, but at the same time he didn't. He killed himself. I love that kind of moves from Yamac, the same happened with Ogeday. Cool! Cool! Cool! Dissapointed about Erkan Keka's tooooo long vacation .. Return him finally back, because Yamac really needs his brother.. Aras is too tired, we see(((( i don't know if he lost weight on purpose, but, damn..i miss his cheeks;((( Aras really deserves a vacation(( the way he gives himself to this job feels as if he acts for several persons at once, so please don't do this to him! Please give us Erkan back

Waste of time
12 January 2021
Engin and Neslihan are good actors, actually i liked them in Kara Sevda (Neslihan) and Kara para ask (Engin), but this story becomes too stupid that even their acting don't save from this craziness.. totally a waste of time.. it's a 2/10 only because the beginning was ok, but i left it when the 2nd season started..couldn't resist this repeating of events and words anymore. What a pitty that the writers lost the chance to give a normal story for Nare and Sancar) Didn't like both leading characters

Aras, Burak and Necip- Fireee!🔥😍
15 December 2020
Yamac, Akin and Cumali- the perfect trio in this episode, Fire!!! Honestly, the actor who played Kulkan didn't manage to convey the craziness and charm of his character, in my opinion...sorry, but he was annoying) and had a fake acting in comparison to the ones of Aras, Necip, Oner, Erkan, Burak, Riza, Baris and so on, the other male cast. Hope Kulkan'll die very soon))) LOL, now i understand why The Erdenets, especially Cengiz were ashamed of Kulkan:D:D:D i really couldn't stop laughing of him)))))

Not everyone will understand how actually deep this episode is
9 December 2020
For the first time ever, after watching 3 seasons, this episode left me a kind of mixed feelings, that it's even hard for me to understand what i actually feel afer watching this episode, but it defenitely left me in a bad condition... Even if i knew and i was somehow prepared for Selim's death, it is still hard and unusual to say goodby to one of the Kocovali brothers... I was only a little dissapointed about the frequency and cuantity of the flashbacks in such an important episode where we had to say goodby to Selim character.. i couldn't focus on my feelings about his death, because everytime there was a new flashback scene coming. "I couldn't be like you, father... like a rock, like an iron man.."- these words that had been once said to Idris by Yamac.. now i saw that Yamac is not like his father, he even surpassed him...After Selim's death it felt like Yamac was left with no soul...as if there is no more life inside him..he's alive but at the same time dead..During the whole episode Yamac didn't shed a tear, he was himself surprised by his state of mind and he just apologized in front of his beloved brother's grave... now Yamac became like a walking pain... and Aras delivered that message to us in the most wonderful and genious way! I haven't seen such an emptiness and pain in Yamac's eyes even after Sena's and Idris' death..It was simply hard for me to look at Yamac in this episode, i've completely felt all his agony.... Dear Aras, how could you convey to us so, so daaaamn perfectly that emptiness in Yamac's eyes... that face, that look of yours.. You've nailed it one more time, congratulations! You're undoubtedly the best actor in the world! P.S. Burak, Aras, Necip and Oner- you were simply great!!!!!

Another greaaaaaaat episode!!!😭💔
3 December 2020
First of all i can not mention the most powerful scene of this episode, the dialogue between Cumali and Yamac.. the words, acting, music...i've just cried my heart out, especially after the hug, Gooooosh.... Dear Aras, what are you doing to us again? You are a real master of reducing us to tears with your ubelievable acting!!! I will repeat it million times "You're the treasure of Turkey. Turkey is so lucky to have an actor like you! You are MAGICAL!!!!!!!" Have to mention another special and emotional moments like: the dinner with the family, when Sultan kissed Yamac's palm, Selim's words to his kids and so on.. That was a really great episode and even greater ones are about to come! Looking forward to watching every new episode of this unique story!! Cukur is everywhere! Greetings from Moldova

I have fallen into this pit forever! Ay dunyaya biz Cukura tutkunuz!
27 October 2020
It took me a while to get my head together and 3 hours so that I can write this review, because when it gets to Cukur I usually have so many things to say, but at the same time I become speechless, since this tv serie leaves you nothing but powerful emotions. "Icerde and Cukur"- the best that happened to me during this quarantine. After watching Icerde I couldn't watch anything else..No tv serie that I began and tried to watch after it had a zest to get me instantly hooked on. So because of the cast, especially because of Aras, I started to watch Cukur. My first experience was unsuccessful, I could hardly watch 4 episodes. It was somehow difficult to get into the story..too many characters and names, fire guns, all at a once.. it was too much information delivered not in the easiest way to the viewer, so my brain understood nothing but Yamac and Sena scenes. I couldn't continue to watch it, mainly because of that. After 2 weeks I saw some great key scenes videos from Cukur on instagram, and then I said to myself "There's going to happen something interesting, I have to watch it again, from the beginning". That's what i actually did, and from that moment on I've fallen into this pit forever! I heard many stories like mine, so please, if you read this- Do Not Give Up! My advice to you is to watch at least 6-10 episodes, then you'll want more and more. The first episodes are not understandable, whereas Gokhan Horzum (writer) have a special way of developing events and revealing each character to the viewers, step by step. This tv serie is like a puzzle, and if you watch it with maximum attention to every detail, you'll see that the writer gives you signs, in one form or another. A meaning was put in everything in Cukur, that's why I trully admire Gokhan for! Brilliant plot! The cast...oh, the cast... everyone has absolutely great performance, but my favourite is Aras Bulut Iynemli! Everytime I find an ocasion to mention him, I do it with my biggest pleasure, because he's the one of the best actors I've ever seen in my entire life! How can a man play this way? So natural, so true..it's impossible not no believe him. As a little i used to watch american movies all the time, but these masterpieces called Icerde and Cukur deserve Oscars for sure! Aras deserves as much international acclaim and success as american top actors. I can't explain that, but Aras' acting is even way better than top american's ones! They have a lack of expressivity, i don't know.. but none of them reached my heart the way Aras did. That's insane the way he even moves his eyebrows, have you noticed? He can make so many facial expressions: surprise, fear, sadness, anger, happiness and many more..oh, but I have no words to describe how mind-blowing it is when he shows his character's feelings of loosing a beloved one, the way he cries...His voice is as versatile as his facial. I don't know how, but he controls it so well and these two make an unbelievable duo. As for me, pronouncing the text is not enough, the intonation of the voice is the key to make the necessary atmosphere of the whole acting (beside gesticulation and movements of course) and Aras does it great! (resulting from this I recommend to watch Cukur ONLY with subtitles if it's possible, in order to hear the actors' voices). He always transforms into, he lives his characters, he feels them...How is it possible to get such a satisfaction, a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings when watching a movie/ Tv serie??? It was something unknown for me, until I discovered Aras! Turkey is so lucky to have him! He is a gem of cinematography! Yes, Aras is a gem indeed! He is a Legend, indeed! Someone wrote here a review that Cukur is not a copy of Icerde. I totally agree, these two are too unique and beautiful, each in its own way, so you definitely have to watch Cukur if you love Icerde!!! When talking about soundtracks I have to undoubtly mention the talented Toygar Isikli! His music plays such an important role when creating the necessary atmosphere. His music emphasizes characters' emotions acted by the cast..and suddenly sad moments become even more sad, happy ones even happier and so on.. all the Cukur music is Great, the songs too. Oh, but the wall writings from Cukur are a different, an appart type of masterpiece. Some of them sounds especially beautiful to me..wisely, poetical and philosophical somehow. And the last thing I have to mention is the wonderful balance between comedy, drama, action, crime and thriller, so that you never get bored of! Great jokes that make you laugh and relax even in the most tense moments or even some sad moments! That could only a genius think about!!! I've watched all the episodes so far and I want to congratulate all the cast and team with the 100th anniversary episode and for such an amazing serie! As for me (I watched many Turkish tv series and of other countries too) these are INCOMPARABLE to any others seen so far! Icerde and Cukur are the LEGENDS of the Turkish tv! I highly recommend to watch Cukur! A rollercoaster of emotions is guaranteed! P.S. It surely deserves a higher score, but don't mind, yet Cukur is not a tv serie for everyone! It has to be understood, it has to be felt and lived by each of us!!! Looooot of love from Moldova
