As someone who appreciates comedy and is not easily perturbed by controversial humor, I eagerly anticipated an evening of unbridled amusement. Alas, these aspirations were shattered by the disillusionment of an offering that fell tragically short of its promised brilliance. The dearth of his characteristic industry scrutiny left me yearning for more than mere laughter; I longed for the profound discourse intertwined with his inimitable humor. Regrettably, I must confess that I did not even finish watching the special, such was the extent of my disappointment.

Rebel Moon 2: A Galactic Disaster
If you're here to find out if you should waste your time watching the second installment in Zack Snyders "epic space saga" I am here to tell you please don't waste your time because it only gets worse and here's why
Rebel Moon 2 " The Scargiver " crashes and burns faster than a spaceship hitting a forcefield. With a plot as thin as space dust, viewers are left adrift in a sea of confusion and disappointment. The narrative jumps from one disjointed scene to another, leaving audiences wondering if they accidentally boarded the wrong spaceship.
Cinematography? More like slow-motion overload. Every action sequence drags on longer than a black hole devouring a star, making even the most epic space battles feel like watching paint dry in zero gravity.
Forced character romances feel as genuine as a malfunctioning droid, and the acting is so wooden you'd think the cast was made of recycled spacecraft parts. When characters meet their demise, it's hard to summon even a pixel of emotion - a testament to how little the audience cares about their fate.
Rebel Moon 2 shamelessly pilfers elements from iconic sci-fi and fantasy franchises like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, but instead of paying homage, it feels like a cheap knockoff sold at a spaceport gift shop. It's a failed attempt to blend epic storytelling with interstellar adventure, leaving viewers wishing they could warp-speed out of the theater before the credits roll.
For All Mankind: Don't Be Cruel (2021)

The inclusion of a subplot involving the mother of a deceased son becoming romantically involved with her son's best friend, ten years after his passing, in a show primarily focused on space exploration is not only tonally jarring but also lacks relevance to the main plot. This unnecessary deviation serves as a distracting tangent from the overarching theme of space and exploration, detracting from the viewer's immersion and diluting the narrative focus.
By introducing such a perplexing and inappropriate relationship dynamic, the showrunners undermine the gravity and seriousness of the central storyline. Instead of delving deeper into the complexities of space exploration, viewers are subjected to a contrived and uncomfortable narrative arc that adds little, if anything, of substance to the overarching plot.
Moreover, the inclusion of this subplot raises ethical and moral concerns, as it romanticizes a deeply problematic and taboo relationship dynamic. Rather than contributing meaningfully to character development or thematic exploration, it comes across as gratuitous and exploitative, serving only to shock or titillate audiences without any real narrative payoff.
In essence, the decision to incorporate such a storyline reflects a lack of discernment and focus on the part of the show's creators, ultimately detracting from the viewer's overall experience and diminishing the impact of the central themes of space and exploration.
Hence the title CRINGE !

This might be my most brief review ever.
I've seen this move a couple of times and each time I always find something good to say about it.
From the amazing cast to the directing , cinematography and general storytelling, this movie ticks all the boxes and sets a prescient for how a good movie should be made.
If you are reading this and you haven't seen it yet, I won't give you any spoilers. All I will say is , this is one of those movies you don't just put on while you're doing something else. It's one of those where you need to invest time so you can appreciate all the subject matters discussed.

There needs to be a conversation about what makes a good super hero movie because this isn't it.
For starters why is Thor getting more stupid with each movie. It's like there's an intentional ploy to dumb his Character.
Jane Fosters character is a walking irony.
She only seeks out the hammer so she can be healed from her cancer. So technically she isn't worthy because she's only becoming Thor to save her self.
Why does Jane foster die ? What was the point of her becoming Thor only to die and reaffirm the narrative that Thor is always loosing everyone he loves. What's to say he won't loose this new little girl he has become a guardian too - pon intended
there are so many unanswered questions. How is it possible that new Asgard isn't a ghost town now with all the multiple attacks it's always facing.
Why is Thor's hammer - axe all of a sudden like a jealous lover. What was the point of that.
I feel MCU should step away from making every movie a joke or an SNL skit and focus on actually trying to make a good movie. It doesn't always have to be funny to be good. That formula has aged.
The Woman King (2022)
Good Casting. Lacking depth and direction
The Woman King does an amazing job with its casting , set design and production in my opinion.
Being West African I appreciated the attention to detail. If there were a separate score for overall aesthetics, it would score 10/10 for me.
That being said , the story line - although meant to be accurate - lacks real accuracy and neglects a lot of historical facts. Just google.
The movie also has a lot of pointless sub plots especially the Pocahontas theme love story that made me cringe.
At it's end , The movie left me asking the real question, what was it really about because it kept going up and down like a roller coaster with no end.
The Guardians of Justice (2022)

This is a wanna be combination of the Watchmen , JLA and Sincity
It's like the creators all saw have of each of those shows and decided that they'll create something "extraordinary" but only managed to create something that would make you cringe the entire time.
