So Real
9 May 2020
Something about this show that I can't explain it's so frustrating in a good way , it's so heart warming and loving but at the same time tinged with real life bitterness.

The performances are so subtle and beautiful and the intimacy portrayed on screen is so genuine and real down to the smallest detail . The show really hit close to home and it made me feel a certain way . The writing is brilliant and this is easily one of the best shows the BBC have produced in years .

Brutal
28 April 2020
As season 1 came to a close on a huge cliffhanger I was dying to find out what happens next . Overall an incredibly violent , well acted acted piece of tv. One of the most exciting new shows on TV right Now . The best thing after all the twists and turns of this first series is that it's only just getting started . 9/10

* Extreme violence is hard hitting and brutally choreographed

* great cinematography and sound

* Very impressive performances from Joe Cole as Sean Wallace and Sope Dirisu as Elliot Carter

After Life (2019–2022)

Incredible !!!
24 April 2020
I loved the first series of After Life and thought it was among Gervais finest work and in my opinion at least in parts he surpasses the genius level of the first series . The shows writing is so tight and so personal and the specific dialogue between characters is so rich and well observed it's remarkable. But the real Kudos this season should not just go to Gervais as a writer but Gervais as an actor this is by far his best performance in any of his body of work to date His performance is truly heartbreaking in parts and so sarcastic and dry in others the balance is so natural and well timed it makes me jealous . The sight of seeing Tony in tears brought me to tears which is complete testament to Gervais , a truly phenomenally understated actor . How a show like Mrs Browns boys can be mentioned in the same breath as this work and in fact win a "comedy" award above this is beyond me. 10/10 prepare to be moved to tears and laugh out loud . Go on give him a BAFTA and get Karl and Steve to give him it ;)

Gangs of London: Episode 3 (2020)
Season 1, Episode 3
The story is starting to open up
24 April 2020
In parts the script is quite cliche but the story is unfolding in an entertaining way which makes up for some of the clunky dialogue. The twists are strong I just hope they don't go down a blind alley like many other crime Shows. The acting again is solid But nothing spectacular in this episode and again the shows violence is unparalleled and richly cartoonish but extremely entertaining .

Really loving it
24 April 2020
Another incredibly paced episode , the action scenes in this show are as full on and bloody as anything i have seen on TV , a really great second episode that just keeps piling the pressure on everyone with all the actors especially Joe Cole as Sean really flourishing in the parts they are playing . Last 10 minutes are gripping and so well directed .

Very Exciting start
23 April 2020
Really impressed with the pacing of the first episode. Fight choreography was impeccable and amazingly stylised and the characters already are starting to take their place. Joe Cole has shades of Tom Hardy in his performance and his character is a step up in maturity and gravity than John Boy in Peaky Blinders. Overall very impressed and can't wait to see where the season goes.
