Senior Year (2022)
I might need botox after this..
Cause this movie gave me a 100 new wrinkles from all the heavy smiling. Absolutely enjoyed every second of it and people who complain about it being 'woke' completely missed the mark.
All the characters are lovable, jokes are funny, soundtrack is super nostalgic and even though it was almost 2hours long, i couldve watched it for another one.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
I'm speechless
I love corny and trashy horror but TCM2022 was hands down the WORST movie i've ever seen in my life. I couldn't say one good thing about this movie, even if my life was depending on it.
The Voyeurs (2021)
"I didn't think you'd come." - CUT
If it wasn't for the last 10 minutes, this movie would've been a solid 8 for me. Amazing score, beautiful cinematography, great plot. But the last 10 or so minutes were just simply so ridiculous, it completely ruined everything i've seen up to that point.
I would and I will recommend this movie to my friends but I'll suggest everyone to stop watching it as soon as Seb tells Pippa "I didn't think you'd come.".
That part is the real ending of the movie for me. It's the kind of depressing outcome this story and characters deserved. Not the ridiculous revenge mess we got.
Single All the Way (2021)
This movie was a choice.
A romantic Xmas movie should be cheesy, but this was like a pizza quattro formaggi dipped in hot fondue level cheesy.
The concept was pretty cute but the acting was just aaawful and i absolutely hated the ending.
Jonas Brothers Family Roast (2021)
Surprisingly fun
I enjoyed it. My boyfriend? Not so much, cause he was trying to sleep and i kept laughing next to him with my headphones on.
The only thing I didn't like was the scripted parts in the beginning and ending and Dr Phil. He is unfunny as hell.
The Manor (2021)
Could've been better with a different ending
It was really refreshing to see a horror movie with elderly characters only. Story was interesting, jump scares were good.
My only issue was the ending as I didn't like the whole 'we're witches' twist. I think it would've been a better movie if at the end we find out there's nothing supernatural going on in the building, but a poor grandma is just simply losing her mind to dementia. Sure it would be a sad and depressing revelation, but in my opinion that's an ending this story deserved.
Q-Force (2021)
Stereotypical? Yes. Entertaining? Hell Yes!
I can already see people whine about this show being stereotypical and terrible at representation but I, as a gay man can honestly say : this show is amazingly fun.
Characters are funny, animation looks great, voice acting is great and I don't mind at all how over the top the gay characters are. I'm watching it to be entertained and so far I am 100% getting that.
Tiny Pretty Things (2020)
Every character needs to be pushed off that roof.
The casting director of this show needs to find a new profession, because s/he clearly sucks at this job...
...unless their goal was to find the worst actors out there to play the most unlikeable characters I've ever seen in a Netflix series, because in that case, they need a huge raise.
2points only, because i liked the soundtrack in the first episode.
American Murder: The Family Next Door (2020)
Great documentary on a toxic marriage gone wrong
I followed the case when it happened and it is truly a heartbreaking one. It always haunted me how a seemingly perfect family like the Watts could end up like this and this gave me a little insight into what and where went wrong. Chris is a horrible person and what he's done is unforgivable but after seeing this, I can kinda see why he snapped. Shanan was a horrible, controlling person who drove her man crazy. TBH I don't blame Chris for having an affair and for wanting to leave her wife but i just can't understand why murdering his family seemed like an easier option or his only way out?
Anyway, tragic story, great docu.
