I am always hesitant to watch or dive into a show about scripture or the life of Christ. If it's more of a fiction-show that's ok but if it's supposed to be "based on the true story" or true to scripture I hesitate.
There's always something that is completely out of the box scripturally- not even plausible or in step with the Bible. Or they want to go Hollywood and put something in that is "juicy" for entertainment purposes.
This show sticks to scripture- represents Christ so beautifully and brings more humanity to Jesus and all of the characters. You just fall in love with them!
The backstories are plausible and you can tell they are working hard to stick to historical and biblical cultural representations as well!
Love this show and can't wait for the next seasons!

Great nature show!

Love this. Very cool to see things we've never seen and new discoveries.
Also the camera work is stunning.
It isn't overly grotesque like some documentaries and nice to have female narrators for a change up from david attenburro

It's an awesome approach to Think about how The Holy Spirit interacts with us and to see how Jesus sometimes intervenes in our every day lives. I LOVE the actor who plays Jesus. Full of joy and love. It's a neat take on experiencing the "interruption" of Jesus in our lives. Definitely give it a watch. Plus the tv series!
