Once I found out the main character...
Once I found out the main character, Nare, would die it wasn't worth continuing. Not that I really loved her character, but the show is literally called "The Ambassador's Daughter". Not pointing fingers at anyone but it would be nice if celebrities that take on the role of a main lead (especially if the show is based on that character) be contracted to stay on if possible. I'm finding that main characters leaving Turkish shows before the conclusion is not that uncommon. Disappointing.

Main Charaters Hook you but...
Another Turkish series where the main characters hook you but it's the villains who actually keep you watching. Somewhere towards the middle of this series I began to check out, but the brilliant performances by the actors who played the antagonists forced me to continue.

Main Characters are Not Great
Flawed character development with the two lead roles. Serra's character is always angry and she overreacts constantly. It's irritating and makes it hard to root for her. It's also difficult to empathize with Selim because you never get a real feel for him. He's so flat. His interactions with Serra at this point don't have much chemistry. I feel like with Burak you at least know what he's about. You understand his emotions.
