Monk: Mr. Monk Gets Married (2004)
Season 2, Episode 15
10/10
Who knew a fake marriage could be so funny?
16 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
a man has been murdered and, of course, it calls Adrian Monk to the screen.

The whole thing begins with Sharona (Bitty Schram) and Adrian (Tony Shalhoub) finding Randy Disher getting himself drunk because his mother has just gotten married. she and her new husband (who Monk suspect is the killer) join a marriage counseling center and Monk's only choice is to follow them there. but in order to not give them selves away, Adrian and Sharona must pretend to be married! it's a terrific Episode filled with constant humor, intrigue and of course, the famous obsessive compulsive detective. Worth watching and re-watching as Monk and his assistant reluctantly try to make everyone else believe they are married, while trying to solve a murder case. I give this Episode ten!

Smallville: Nicodemus (2002)
Season 1, Episode 15
2/10
A poisonous flower poisons this episode.
15 July 2006
"Nicodemus" is almost a copy of "Red" in the odd behavior sense, but this episode focuses on other people in Clark Kent's unpredictable life. When a poisonous flower finds it's way into Smallville Jonathan Kent is the first to be effected by it. the flower causes people to reverse their behavior and when it effects Jonathan, he becomes short tempered and violent, however Clark manages to stop him from doing anything rash until his father finally passes out. okay. so far, so good. next up is Lana. the Episode was good up to that point, for the flower causes her to attempt seducing Clark. at the last moment, he refuses her but the damage has already been done. this episode causes the wrong impressions and isn't suitable for people under the age of twenty, due to it's adult content. the first part was good, the last part (focusing on the effect the flower has on Pete) was good, but the middle that was all about Lana's alternate personality, was most defiantly not, and that ruined what could have been a brilliant Episode. I give this Episode two.

Smallville: Prodigal (2003)
Season 2, Episode 15
9/10
The long-lost brother of Lex Luther shows up bringing a new twist to Lex's life.
15 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
When Lucas Luther is found, Lionel decides Lucas is his "second chance" but it back fires. at first, Lionel and Lucas work together to not only deprive Lex of all his money, but throw him out of the mansion at which point, Lex seeks residence with the Kent's. it was an interesting sensation to see Lex finally have sibling after the story that was told in "Stray" about his brother, Julian, who'd died as a baby, then in "Lineage" where he was lead to think that Clark might have been his brother. now, when he finds his half brother and brings him home, he gets something less than gratitude. but there's another twist in the works when Lex and Lucas turn on their father with a plan of their own, and discover what Lionel has been hiding. the episode was fun, funny, well thought out, and overall, well worth the watch....and re-watch! I give "Prodigal" nine.

An Incredible story of love, forgiveness, bravery, and sacrifice.
15 July 2006
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was based off of an already popular and compelling story. Some people don't know that the Chronicles of Narnia is allegorical and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was based off the crucifixion. this only makes the story more realistic and fascinating as the Director (Andrew Adamson) takes C.S. Lewis's incredible world and adapts it to screen for all the world to see. the story focuses on four children who find their way into a magical world called Narnia where animals talk and thins like unicorns and nymphs and mermaids are real. it sounds simplistic but there is another twist to this world. eternal winter seems consume what was once a beautiful country. this winter is because of a witch (Tilda Swinton) who has Narnia under her rain. but when the Pevensies, Peter (William Mosely), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley) come to this world, they discover the truth about a lion called Aslan (Liam Neeson) who is the real King of Narnia. one might expect a silly story about kids who talk to animals and fairies and learn lessons and stuff like that, but the story is so much more intricate and spectacular. more than just a 'good story'. it's a one of a kind adventure. I give this movie ten.

Smallville: Accelerate (2003)
Season 2, Episode 21
2/10
this episode was disturbing and not consistent with the rest of Smallville.
14 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Accelerate is about a little girl named Emily from Lana's past who died and seems to have come back to haunt her. It turns out she is merely a clone of the real girl with super speed. The way the film writers excused the slightly demonic girl was to say she was simply confused. But when people take innocent children and turn them into someone who's demented, there is no excuse. This episode didn't seem to belong with an otherwise fun and interesting series. including small children is always welcome, but including them in such a way is not. the plot itself is an intriguing one that simply could have been done better. I give this episode two.
