I started watching SG-1 from the beginning again, it's been years, I've been enjoying it quite a bit. This was a good episode, not the best but it was entertaining. I betting a lot of the really low reviews and over-the-top negative comments are actually about politics or religion.

No one ever said he was a Republican, I think he acts like a Republican so Republicans assume that's what they're mocking.

After the last four years, I actually think the senator doesn't even look that outrageous. He doesn't care what the facts are, he's arrogant about it, and the reason evangelicals don't care about climate changes is because "God wouldn't let that happen"

It is not that far of a jump to assume if they were in power and start it was a real thing, they'd say the same thing about this.

Liam trusts a woman he's met and talked for 20 minutes over a guy he's known for a long time? In a place where you shouldn't trust people?

Madame president, does she ever talk to the media or is the bad guy VP the only one that knows how to use social media?

I like the show but these things are really annoying.

Entertaining and being foreign made it more interesting

I loved the show, good science-fiction, not big budget, but the special effects were good. You think someone is a main character and then they dies. I like twists. Being filmed in Finland, some parts might of been boring but I found seeing the little cultural differences interesting. There's something about how he figures out he has powers and you figure out that they're monsters, seem to be more unique then usual. I hope they come out with a season two.
