What a Masterpiece!
2 November 2021
Everything is in place.

The Music and visuals are phenomenal - especially when watching in cinema.

I absolutely loved the dark colours and atmosphere (reminded me of the "Prometheus" movie). It's about the time we end the era of the pop-sci-fi popularized by Marvel. It's about the time to embrace more mature productions within the genre.

The movie is about 2,5h long and believe me - I wish there was even less action scenes - this is how I loved absorbing the world, the story, presented cultures and characters themselves!

Tesla's Product Placement....
27 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm about to finish the 2nd episode. So far I enjoy it very very much, I love the visuals, I'm a big fan of the split narration too.

But come on.. this product placement of Tesla in the end of the 2nd episode is a joke... Horrible.

Edit: Alright.. I finished 2nd episode, why would they shot it...?

The 6th Episode (Spoiler Alert)
7 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I have just finished watching the 6th episode. I probably should wait with with the review till I finish the whole serie, but I can tell you now - it's a really, really amazing production.

However, what happened in the "M" episode and (probably) afterwards was all on Alex. What I mean by that is why did she allow the guests to bring the alcohol and to invite the Frankie's friends in the first place? If she had just shown a slight of assertiveness she and her child would not be kicked out.

Anyway, I love the production so far, it's really emotional and very very well done.

Wasted potential
10 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The movie had a great potential and the story could have been presented in a much more interesting way.

We know examples such as "Buried" where the whole movie is in one place - and here instead of one actor and 1x1m space we have three, open scenery, extreme weather conditions etc - a good director would not waste such a chance so easily.

In my opinion, this movie rather focused on making it as disgusting as possible (in terms of injuries etc) instead of focusing on story.

The scene where one of the guys jumped - what a joke it was..

Made me change my diet
28 January 2021
I really enjoyed this documentary. I must admit it's a bit biased, maybe even too biased sometimes but it actually made me try vegeterian diet for one week, then it was two weeks, one month, six months and now it's been over a year since I had meat, fish or eggs. I've really cut down on cheese too, and for about 2 months I can actually say I'm on the vegan diet! I'm a gym guy, so for anyone like me, who's not sure about whether you will keep your strenght or muscles - you will. There are plenty of meat subtitutes by the way, which taste like meat really and just an example of 'free meat mince' in the UK - it's actually cheaper than real one; and the macro is even better. Before I've tried this diet I was really really meat type of guy - every single meat had to have meat in it, my first year at Uni - I was having a handmade double-burger almost every single day - so imagine it lol. What I mean is, just go try it yourself and I'm almost sure you will enjoy it.

Is it gonna get any better?
23 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Hey, I'm about to start 3rd episode of the first season. But come on.. can someone tell me this is gonna get any better?

Just an example of what I mean:

Hayley and Rebekah are so cringy that I can barely stand listening to their dialogues and the way the act. Just an example of when Hayley in 2nd episode was sitting on the bench and was about to drink this posion - did she really have to say outload stuff like "come on Hayley, just a sip and you won't have that child" (paraphrased) - COME ON ... who is the target audience of this serie - 12 y olds?

Overall, I've spotted numerous cringy or not-thought-through scenes, dialogues etc. So here's my question:

IS IT GONNA GET ANY BETTER?
