A quality short film directed, edited, produced, and written by one person in their senior year of film school. It was privately funded on a budget of less than 2 grand, all raise personally by the director. The sets, costumes, and effects were assembled by a core team of 4 people, with multiple actors playing multiple roles. Some of the actors themselves doubled as stunt personal and effects personal, often having to run to the other side of a set mid shot to trigger a pyro effect. The windows for filming the material itself were razor thin, with many personnel only being available for 2-3 hours at a time, and at best, 1-2 days a week. Considering the short was the first major effort by the director, and that the cast and crew were comprised of a single professional actor augmented by volunteer amateurs, I would consider this to be an outstanding effort and a display of promising talent by a young director.
