What a witty, hilariously dark comedy movie - Bobcat Goldthwait has made a gem. It's nice to see a movie that worries about the actual writing and acting rather then just creating "stars." Goldthwait's "World's Greatest Dad" has a nice balance between teenage against and the pain we all feel day-to-day living our lives. It's remarkable how we all can feel alone even when we are surrounded by people. If you liked "Little Miss Sunshine," but wanted an even darker and better written movie this may just be the movie for you. I hope to see Bobcat Goldthwait write and direct more movies, I thank Adam Carolla for having Bobcat on his show "The Adam Carolla Podcast," because if he wasn't on I don't think I would have seen this wonderful flick.

A nice surprise

I was surprised by how much I really liked this film. I was hoping it would just be packed full of parts where it's silent and then boom! you're scared because you were, basically, startled. I find that type of horror movie annoying, Orphan was not. There was a nice blend of things being very creepy and kids just being cute. While the kids are just being cute kids doing cute things you get sort of lulled to sleep and the Orphan springs into action. It was hard to really figure her out and what her problem was and why is she acting like such a psycho. In the end you'll be pleasantly surprised and I really liked the ending. I would say go see if you're looking to satisfies your hunger for blood, guts, and brutal deaths scenes.

No all movies are made for everyone to see them and I get annoyed when people don't understand that. Also, comedy is a genera in which people don't know how to critique whatsoever. This move Sex Drive was flat out funny. I had standard vibes you'd get from a teen comedy and then it's taken up another notch. The unrated version is also something to watch because there's more jokes within jokes and even more boobs. I would suggest you to watch this flick if you're hanging out with some friends drink some beers and want to laugh and not really think about the content. It's funny to see the movie world they live in and how hard and amazing it is when you get things like beer. It's a nice escape to what many would term as "the salad days" of teenage boobs, underage drinking, drugs, and trying to get laid. A very fun movie to watch I would suggest it to most of my friends. If you liked the movie "Beerfest" odds are you'll really enjoy this movie as well.

I simply loved this film. I'm a big fan of Adam Carolla on his podcast you can download at http://www.adamcarolla.com if you're a fan of Adam Carolla this movie you will want to watch over and over. I only with there was a commentary track to go along with the DVD. I don't think many people know the comedic range Adam Carolla really has and there were parts in this film that were very heart felt and romantic. I cannot believe that this movie got an "R" rating, someone got screwed here. I would feel comfortable having my whole family watch this movie. I can't stop watching this movie when it's on TV and I only home a special edition of a DVD or Bluray would come out because I know there have got to be some awesome stories by Ace about making this movie.

We rented the movie as a joke, but it wasn't even funny enough to sit through. I think the other review written about the movie was actually written by Christopher Lambert himself. If you want to watch a good movie with Lambert in it watch "Highlander" not this POS. This movie was just bad and not funny bad either i.e. "Druids." The twist is lame too. We couldn't even sit through the "making of" that was boring too. This is just your basic bad B movie. Maybe Lambert need to make a house payment or something, I hope he got paid for doing this, I wish I did for watching a quarter of it. I wish Lambert would do good movies. Oh yeah and I can't wait for Mortal Combat 3, that should be hilarious.
