A bunch of 30-year-olds seem to still attend high school and get killed there.

This movie might have been somewhat decent, if it hadn't been for the terrible filming, lighting and sound recording. Half the time you couldn't recognise the characters or understand their conversations. You had to guess who they were and what they were saying (which, I have to admit, was pretty fun!).I also noticed that all the actors were at least in their thirties while their characters were high school kids. They kept on talking about "old friends" (how old could they be, if they were not older than 18???) and their time in jail!! This seems pretty impossible for someone attending grade 12. The story itself was not even too bad, but all the efforts were in vain due to the amateurish way in which the film was shot.

Raptor (2001 Video)

all attempts to be scary and original failed.

The storyline of this movie is cliché and obviously has been ripped off from Jurassic Park. The filmmakers didn't even try to hide that. It seems as though there was not enough budget to make decent dinosaur-dolls, so instead the viewer sees some robot-like toy-dinos (from a cheap toystore) which move in a very unnatural way. It's funny though, because it's so bad. The acting is almost as unnatural as the dinos are. No one seems really excited to be in this movie (which I totally understand). Especially the last half hour is extremely boring and it's almost impossible to watch it without falling asleep. The one positive comment note I'd like to make about "Raptor" is that it doesn't take a full 90 minutes.

A cheap, sad version of E.R.

This is a very sad hospital-series that really tried everything to be as professional as E.R., but sadly failed. First of all, there's only one storyline for one episode, which makes it very boring. I mean, the storyline is usually not even that bad, but to have to keep people interested for 45 minutes, you really need more different ideas and more excitement during that time. It's also mainly based on emotions, and the medical side is being totally ignored. To keep it interesting to watch, I think you need more of a mixture of both. The acting is not great, the characters are very thin and cliché. Nothing is really deepened. In contrast to a great hospital-series such as E.R., this is just a failed attempt to be anything close to that.
