Very depressing movie
What a depressing movie to have watched on the first day of a new year, 2021! It appeared from the trailer that this might be a good movie. It was not. To intertwining stories about two orphan girls in a musical that should never have been a musical. I was totally depressed throughout the whole thing when Dick Van Dyke as an angel disappeared from Annabel's life for years and I only turned up when she was drowning. There is a connection between one generation and another, as after Annabel was finally adopted, Emily in the next generation was finally adopted by Annabelle's as an adult. Those two girls lives were absolutely horrible and depressing. I hated the musical numbers which did not belong in the story. Only in the very end was this movie redeemable at all. I can only wish that I had started the new year off with a happier movie.

How long will the dancing last?
I found myself liking this show more and more as I got into it, but I am wondering if, in the long run, the dancing scenes will get old and seem out of place. I love the concept of her brain being scrambled during the MRI, and the concept for hearing songs from people expressing their emotions and what's going on in their life. I'm afraid that the show won't last very long because the dancing scenes just don't seem to fit. It's like they're just stuck in there and a very unrealistic. I was pleasantly surprised at the known characters who play supporting roles. I'm hoping that the show will catch on because it is something new, but let's ditch the singing and dancing scenes that seem so out of place and give this fresh idea a chance at renewal.
