The Exorcism in Amarillo (2020)
Another garbage film from the Wright klan.
It is impossible to watch anything made by the Wrights without wanting to throw-uo a little. That everything they do is so incompetent and poorly made isn't even the worst part.
Like every other release of theirs I've watched, I watched this with friends, knowing it was going to be a disaster. This movie is ugly propaganda for those sad, sad people who live afraid of the world. From the Proud Boys beard to their rabid obsession with demons and devils, this is red meat for The Duggar's fan base at their worst. (And that is saying something.) It's just bad. Though to be fair - it's not their worst outing. They have learned a little bit about how sound actually works. Just kidding. They don't have a clue what their doing.
On a good note - the Wrights consistently demonstrate everything wrong with the cultish homeschool community that seems to gobble these up.
Jingle Smells (2023)
Playing the victim for Christmas.
I heard about this film from a podcast, and decided to have a watch party with friends. We watched another John Schneider film a few months ago and made it a drinking game every time the actors sounded like a Fox News commentator covering a klan rally and we literally had to stop the game 15 minutes in.
So I'm very glad we decided against doing the same drinking game with this film, because merely watching this movie 'cancels' enough brain cells.
It's not a surprise this sad little pile is just a cheap string of every conservative trope for playing the victim card. But that's just what you get whenever John Schneider makes a move.
To Die For (2022)
More victim porn for the right
After watching this horribly filmed, horribly scripted, and horribly acted assault on decency - I ALMOST wanted to ask, 'What happened to John Schneider?'
But then I remember he started his acting career driving around in a car coated with the Southern Rebel Flag, and I realized he's been all-in for this kind of victim-playing for a long, long time.
The scene with a racist old fart tearing up the home of a Native American in an El Camino with an oversized US flag epitomizes everything wrong with who this film was made for.
The only good part of the movie is the ending where the main haracter get to play the ultimate victim when he is killed after shooting a minor over a piece of cloth.
The Book of Mormon Movie, Volume 1: The Journey (2003)
An accidental parody
For those who thought it was impossible to make the Book of Mormon more white and more ridiculous - here's your movie.
