Rose Island (2020)
10/10
Fun to look at
9 December 2020
This film tells the true story of the Rose Island. The focus is on the dreamer Giorgio Rosa, who is building his own island in international waters. The project soon attracted hippies and became a controversial topic in Italian politics. This film is entertaining, funny and educational. The actors do a great job and the sets are equipped with a great deal of attention to detail and a bunch of authentic vintage cars.

Best show on Netflix
5 August 2020
After I watched the first two episodes I completely fell in love with this show. From my point of view the second season is even better than the first one.

Pacing issues, bad and lazy writing
9 February 2020
This series has a high production value, but Netflix should have put more efforts into the script. The first seven episodes could be packed into four, but the main thing that bothers me are the decisions of the characters. Several times they choose the obviously worst way and - surprise - that's indeed the worst choice. That's just lazy writing and ends in frustration of the visitors. This series has everything to be a great show but the bad script ruins so much. I'm disappointed.
