Funny side of a disastrous incident
22 June 2007
A novelist who could find a funny side of a disastrous incident in the history of mankind (Jurek Becker), a director who could find a great perspective to create this vision and assemble a delicious cast and crew (Peter Kassovitz). To be brief the producers of Jakob The Liar don't deserve from the users of Internet Movie Database a "6.0 average".

The humor in the screenplay became unforgettable by the perfect role-playing of an actor (Robin Williams) who created the main characters of every movie that he acts a milestone... The final of the movie could disappoint most of the viewers but as my opinion that counts: it is the two-way endings tradition that you can imagine the rest and feel whatever that you want to feel...

silence in a movie
24 April 2007
I would not have guessed that silence in a movie (in every bit of it) could be so beautiful, effective and shocking. In every scene, camera angle, dialog have its own purity and genius, thanks to Maria Speth... I must add that artistic work and cinematography of In Den Tag Hinein is the most beautiful I've ever seen yet, thanks to Reinhold Vorschneider...

The lead characters (Lynn and Koji) have their own uncomfortable situations in their lives and getting together helps their communication and lives (to complete absences) easier on a different level...

The uncertainty of the ending, Koji's feelings (regret, remorse or blues whatever you want to call it) makes the audience curios about aftershock of Lynn character.
