Me and 17 year old kid loved this space wreck. I sincerely find it hard to believe anyone making this movie thought it was the next Dune or whatever. If they did, fine, and I hope they cashed their checks in shame. It deploys virtually every stupid trope from sci fi, Airport, Gilligan's Island, and monster movies and lets them all fight for silliness supremacy. I point out we paid good money for tickets to this show and I consider it well spent. I only felt the need to point that out because I have 97 more characters to write before I can submit this. There. 36. Now I there's only enough to express my abiding love for... oh! There it is.

Good film about a true sport racing legend

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Muldowney. A close friend's older brother was racing in the econo altered class at the local 1/4 mile strip. Muldowney and Garlits were the featured attractions. My friend's older brother was racing in the econo altered class and graciously gave me a pit pass. I immediately went to Muldowney's camp. We hit it off and she showed me what her mechanics were doing, which was tearing the whole damn rig apart and putting it back together. She literally took the time to explain every step to me in detail while simultaneously signing autographs. Class act.
