Legends of the Hidden Temple (1993)
Memories....
I remember watching this show when I was in like first or second grade (I'm about to be a junior now). I had probably forgotten it until I went to babysit and then I flipped to a channel (which now I know is the Nick GaS channel) and right there in front of me is one of my favorite shows as a kid. It was neat seeing the little animal teams (purple parrots, silver snakes, etc.) and the moat, and Olmec (who when I was little I thought his name was Old Mac so I would call him "Big Mac"). It's such a cute show with the little temple and the cool rooms at the end. I would remember screaming at the TV at the kids who would have trouble putting the monkey in the "Shrine of the Silver Monkey" room because it didn't look very hard. And when I was seven I wasn't really thinking of it but now looking at it again I noticed Kirk Fogg is kinda cute too! Well anyways, it's good to see that's it's still atleast showing re-runs.
Drumline (2002)
Stupid!
This has spoilers.....
Ok, I am a percussionist in a high school drumline, and we play stuff that sounds better than what they play. And they are supposed to be college? At first I was excited to see a movie made about a drumline, but too bad I couldn't relate to much of it.
The story is stupid. A guy is a really good snare player but he can't read music? How does he know about rolls and flams and rudiments and stuff? I think it's too far-fetched that he can play the stuff by just hearing it. And then he somehow learns to read music at a college marching band level in just a few days? Unless he is God or something that's not likely. And they make band camp look like boot camp. I haven't heard of a college band that runs up and down the stairs carrying the drums on their heads. There's no point. What you really do is marching fundamentals and learn music and stuff. Oh, and by the way, most marching bands march to classical music that's spiced up with drumline beats and stuff, not modern music. Flight of the bumble bee may not sound cool, but I'm pretty sure it's damn hard to play on a trumpet! But I guess you would have to be a "band nerd" to appreciate that talent. And what's with the two bands tieing in a band competition? Yeah, right. Give me a break. And then they have the drumlines battle it out to see who wins? Please! It sounds like Hollywood crap to me!
If you're going to make a movie about a drumline, make it about a REAL drumline. Not some drumline that dances in the middle of the field and can't play clean beats all the time. And don't make it some Hollywood story. It would be cool if it was like a true story. Like Remember the Titans but about a drumline. I thought maybe a movie like this would change people's perspective of "band nerds" and know how hard we work at what we do, but people are getting the wrong idea from this movie.

Best TV Show!
This is BY FAR my favorite TV show! One of the reasons is because it's so original! I love it! Kiefer Sutherland is amazing (I think he was robbed at the Emmies, but that's my opinion)! Dennis Haysbert, Elisha Cuthbert, Sarah Clarke, Carlos Bernard, and all the rest of them are also great! Even the extras :D! It keeps me on the edge of my seat and always wanting more and more. It's almost like a rush. This show is so good and I always recommend it to my friends. It's a 10!
