The title of this review says it all... It's nothing but a very poor copy of the original show. They even copied the script, pretty much word for word, whilst trying to put their own mark on it (which they also spectacularly failed at). I'd rate it at least -100 stars, if I could. I'm AMAZED that this rubbish U. S copy of a U. K show lasted as long as it has. There has been and will always be only one Frank Gallagher, and that's David Threlfall. To be quite honest, none of the cast members in this sub par U. S copy could even come close to the original U. K cast. Only James McAvoy could ever be Steve, only Anne-Marie Duff could be Fiona and the same goes for ALL the other cast members. Shameless is a timeless classic, depicting life as it really is on a council estate in England. This U. S version has utterly ruined everything Shameless was meant to be. My advise to all those watching this or who are considering watching this... Find the original U. K Shameless. It's the only one worth spending your time watching.

This NEEDS to be put on DVD

I've spent so many years looking for a copy of this film on DVD but still, there's nothing. I had it on video, years ago and watched it constantly.. absolutely love this film! Love the action, the sense of humour... It's just a brilliant film! And I'd absolutely LOVE to be able to watch it again!
