American Factory (2019)
Bottom line: Manufacturing is for developing countries

Interesting glimpse at how a Chinese company would run a subsidiary in the US. I think the whole film can be summed up as Chinese factory workers being harder working (working significantly more hours and concentrating harder) than Americans. That's simply because wages are dirt cheap in China and their culture promotes work. That's why most of the world's manufacturing jobs are in China- a fast growing but still a second world country that can provide cheap and good labour.
No one in the US in their right mind should be in the manufacturing industry anyways. US workers don't believe they should work 7 days a week, get paid below min wage and not follow any rules and regulations. That only exists in developing countries.
