Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution (2022)
"Crazy doesn't mean good" - Well it can and it did.
Just to start off - Pennywise Lalo made me so nervous in the best way possible.
And the whole sequence with Kim and Jimmy was extremely entertaining to watch, especially to see the plan go into action and watch Howard rapidly deteriorate.
The last three episodes, although still great we're all build up to this one, where at the very end two characters from opposite sides of the show meet in a crazy intense and genius ending to a fantastic half-season. Was I expecting Howard to die when I saw the candle and Lalo walk in? Sure. Did it surprise me and and give me the same reaction Kim and Jimmy had? Yep.
Also the fact that the writers thought this through with Mike and Gus's plan to take men off of the less important places was a very good detail
I can't wait for the second half.
I've heard the complaints that Jimmy and Kim's scheme to take Howard down and get Sandpiper settled was way too bizarre, but I realized here that that's kind of the point, that Jimmy and Kim get fun out of these kinds of things and that's the kind of people they are.
Fantastic episode all around.
Better Call Saul: Hit and Run (2022)
Exactly what it should've been
There was almost nothing wrong with this episode. Last episode was action-packed and intense and this episode is an amazingly executed follow up. Great story and development from Kim and her meeting with Mike (also fantastic directing from Rhea Seehorn) and the stuff we got from the Gus/Mike side of the show was very interesting, although it wasn't a lot. I love that we get another connection to Breaking Bad through Wendy and the scheme Jimmy and Kim did to further ruin Howard's reputation was pretty hilarious. Not every episode needs to be action-packed or shocking to be great. This one took on the task of further building the story and did it almost perfectly. Amazing.
The Walking Dead: What We Become (2020)
Handled correctly
All there is to say is that they handled the exit for Michonne perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing. It was awesome!
The Walking Dead: The Damned (2017)
In the pits
We got a heads up in the summer about the first four episodes being all out war. This episode, they tried to do too much. The Tara and Jesus part is just a filler scene to extend the episode. They should made this season 15 episodes instead of sixteen. They should have wiped away this thought, of filled it with a bottle episode about Negan's backstory. This is he first episode that has gotten a negotiable rating from me.
The Walking Dead: Scars (2019)
Perfect timing and great idea
This episode was placed in at the correct time. It has been a mystery since season 9A ( episode 906/907) what this X scar was all about. This episode took place after a minor cliffhanger and before a devistating episode. The writers decided to slow down the whole whisperer story line and reveal a secret about the time jump. We get to see and fill in part of the time we skipped. This episode also has many unanswered questions. The one I am wondering is where Winnie went. Is he going to return? Overall, great episode. The one point that was taken off was the beginning and the slow pace of it.
The Walking Dead: The Storm (2019)
There's only one!
Many people may be angry that this finally wasn't as big as they expected. Well, the show just pulled off a thrilling episode (915) with the big, crazy pike reveal. Did we really expect an injury or even a death? Well, big stuff did occur closer to the end. First of all, this is the beginning of Negan's redemption process (occurs in season 10), Carol broke up with Ezekiel, and we heard a mysterious voice on the radio. They did add in pretty cool walker-sicle scenes for fun, but it was cool that we got to see snow for the first time. Just one question Angela Kang: If you knew that the cliffhanger at the end of season six ( negan's choice death) was not enjoyable to fans, then why end season nine with one from the radio?
The Walking Dead: The Calm Before (2019)
Underwealming pike deaths!
This episode might of seemed slow in the beginning, but I like the happy mood to it. We all might of been surprised by the reveal of the memorial pike border in episode 915 and not 16. It was awesome, but my biggest complaint is how underwealming these deaths were.
First we had Ozzy and his second in command. Okay. I mean, not the best deaths. One of them we've never even met.
Then, D.J. and Frankie. Will this put a negative impact on Negan? many people must of been surprised to see Frankie on screen, but if you look closely at episode 914, you can find her in the flashback.
Tammy Rose. Come on! We all knew she was going. Now Earl rose has nothing t all to live for. What's next for earl and the baby?
Addy and Rodney. They killed Addy and Rodney, Yelp left Gage unharmed. Is there a reason? Is Gage important for season 10? Will he have a connection with Lydia.
Enid. I think I know why Alpha chose Enid. Maybe she saw her working at the medic thingy and picked her so they have an absents of a doctor. Also, her actris recently moved to LA.
Tara. Tara was the only person on the list that I cared for. You could tell she was going to die in the beginning because she was acting strange. And it's crazy to see her go after surviving through seasons 4-9. I love Tara and I know many hate her. But we always need a funny addition to the show.
Henry. The way they showed the Pike line up was great, but something was off. Tara should have been the climax. We first saw Henry in season 7 and Tara in season 4. Tara is definetly more important. What's next for Lydia? They killed of the TV show's new Carl.
I'm excited for the storm in 916
The Walking Dead: Isolation (2013)
Unrealistic exposure
The whole plot of the infection was amazing, but the one flaw the show had was that all the people from Woodbury got sick. Not Rick, Not Maggie, not Hershel. They only made the unimportant characters get sick. They rarely made a main character get sick. But, when they did, (Sasha, Glenn) they seemed to keep them alive. All the others died, but they of course survived
The Walking Dead: Internment (2013)
Clearing the place
An episode this good deserves more than an 8.7 rating. First of all, this was a smart way to clear out the prison. Most of the sick people exited the show in a exciting way. Each had a scene for death. You could see the focus on attention to Glenn more than others. All the background extras were shown dead or reanimated. There were walkers everywhere and loose people and sick people, people dying. It was just a lot of action. And then, when you add the Carl and rick shooting seen, it gave us the season finale feeling. This is my all time favorite episode.
The Walking Dead: Bounty (2019)
Awesome third episode.
Alpha has a man interesting connection to Daryl and his group. The Connie scene in the tall grass was cool from her point of view. The kingdom was okay, but it would be better if it was more action filled and if they accomplished more
