BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage - LA (2022)

I'm 2 songs in and I hate it

We go to concerts because we want to see a performance. All of it. We watch concerts on TV like this because we can't go. We want the concert experience though. There are 7 guys on that stage that dance amazingly! I would love to see that. The amount of close ups are ridiculous. There are enough close ups and pictures of these guys that we don't need that many. I can go watch the music video. I wouldn't mind seeing the dancers also.

Then the second song. I don't think I've heard of a stadium concert using dark red lights before? So now they're hard to see at all. Even close up. I feel bad for the people actually at the concert. I don't know who edited this but it's beyond me why it's this way? It's a dance performance. Let us see them dance!

I have nothing but good things to say about the boys. They did their job.

If this doesn't get any better Disney, I'm gonna go find fan footage to watch so I can see the whole stage and watch all of the guys dancing together.

Onmyoji (2023)

There has to be a 2nd season!

This was a very well done anime series. The art and music were very good. The story was well thought out. The characters were very likable. It probably helped that there was a book. I, of course, didn't know that. Whenever I watch something that is set in an historical period I tend to want to know as much about it as possible. I have a special affinity for Japan. So after a couple episodes I searched for it. I think it's even better to know Seimei was a real person. Then I read about the history of onmyoji's. That was very interesting. Everyone should look that up if you're going to watch. There had better be a second season. When it didn't go to another episode I was shocked. I said "was that it?" I had binged watched it all and didn't realize. It's too good of a story and the characters are too easy to love for it to be the end.

Nightflyers (2018)

I don't get why it got canceled. I'm in the middle of binge watching it. Now I find out it was supposed to go on? So will it be left open ended? I hope not.

I can't believe I haven't heard more about this movie. Time travel has been done countless times before. this was definitely a new take. If you're a scifi lover you don't want to miss this

There are really no good sci fi movies around that I haven't seen. I read the reviews. I'm sorry but it was really good. I could pick apart things here and there but I can do that with just about any movie. Overall it was a good watch. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat the last 3rd of it. It looked amazing without feeling fake like avengers infinity war did. It really made it look like what they were doing was really possible! I just hope if there is a sequel American Hollywood doesn't get their hands on it. Every time they take over something sci fi they ruin it. My only complaint is they shot things so fast it was hard to know who was doing what but I was still able to figure out what was going on. I wish Netflix would dub more foreign films. I can't watch action and read subtitles so there are many movies that look good but I can't watch. Way to go Netflix for making it possible to watch.

Division 19 (2017)

Could've been great

This movie had a great story and really good actors. What happened? There was no urgency in the chase. No suspense. if you have a chip they can trace do you sit in the same spot all night? The government has absolute control electronically but can't find you with said chip? Most of the movie is the subject sitting, staring and some walking. It could've been urgent chasing and barely escaping. It felt like much was left out or not bothered with. I'm 44 min in and I felt the need to stop and vent. The only reason I might continue is the fact that I'm already halfway through. I just don't get the gist of this movie at all. Nothing is happening with any sort of purpose.

Turn Up Charlie (2019)

Way better show than I thought from the trailer

I binge watched this in 1 day! I couldn't stop. I had to see what would happen next. The characters were so good, the story was great! The chemistry of the cast was amazing! I hope it comes back! A Season 2 please?!

I do love this show. I get to learn new things about countries and legends you don't normally get in a dry documentary. every time I think I can say " this is my favorite episode!" I watch another and change my mind. It was the metal library then the mammoth bones but now I think it might be the Yeti! Josh really does make the show. I think he reacts to things the way most of us would. Lol. I watched truth, not so much for the paranormal things but the first part during the travel. I was so happy to see he's doing more of an expedition show now. It's nice to see how to travel in other countries as I will never get to do that myself. I hope this show's around for many more adventures.
