Quella villa accanto al cimitero (1981)
Fulci has succeeded again.
House by the cemetery is different than the other three Fulci's zombie films. There is only one zombie and the atmosphere is more claustrophobic than the prequels. Sounds makes this film more terrifying. Continuous baby crying on the background is tormenting. House by the cemetery makes it more obvious that Fulci was truly the master of horror.
...E tu vivrai nel terrore! L'aldilà (1981)
This is one of the best films ever made.
The Beyond has everything that must be in a great film. Lots of gore, haunting atmosphere and of course zombies that looks like they have really been in grave for years. The story is confusing and sometimes it's hard to know what's happening and why, but that is what Fulci wanted. (His other zombie films has understandable storyline). The Beyond is an art film so visuality is most important. Fulci is no doubt the best zombie director of all times.
Paura nella città dei morti viventi (1980)
Worst of Fulci's zombie films but still great.
I was little disappointed to City of the living dead, but I must say it got few highlights. It contains very disturbing scenes and of course there is lots of zombies (don't you just love them). If you haven't seen any of Fulci's zombie films before don't watch this first, because the other ones are better.
Le notti del terrore (1981)
Truly a masterpiece.
This film has all what is needed for a great film. Excellent story or no story at all, lots of gore and of course zombies. This is almost as great as Fulci's films and that is a lot. I can recommend this all of you who like zombies or like to watch splatter movies.
Zombi 2 (1979)
The best zombie film ever made.
If you have been wondering what happens to a man when he is buried, just watch this film (look at the sleeve). Fulci's zombies are truly rotting and they are full of worms, disgusting but so loveable. Zombie 2 is one of the goriest films ever made and the story is also great. Add to this the soundtrack is really amazing. I must recommend this to everybody who likes horror and don't faint or vomit easily.
