Mission Hill (1999–2002)
Very good show
29 July 2002
When I first saw "Mission Hill" on Cartoon Network, I was very impressed. At first it had seemed like it'd be one of those generic animated comedies that have about 2-3 funny moments each show (Unfortunately, "South Park" seems to be headed down this path), but "Mission Hill" is one of the few recent cartoon comedies that is consistently funny. And it's not as if it's only funny when it has to be funny. There is a lot of humor that is more subtle, and there's also a lot of humor in the background of the show that one would only notice by paying full attention. The only problem with this show is that it's currently only on latenight on Sunday.

Opposite Sex (2000)
Pleasantly surprised
8 August 2000
From the advertisements I saw for this show it looked like it would just be completely plotless; as if the point of this show was just to attract guys to gawk at all the girls. I decided to watch an episode and I was happy to see there actually was a plot and a good one I might add. I can't wait to see more episodes. However, this does seem like the type of show that would get cancelled soon; I don't think they get too many viewers. But it should be fun while it lasts.

Clerks (2000–2001)
Did not deserve to get cancelled
30 July 2000
I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that the amazing movie "Clerks" was being made into a cartoon TV series. I immediately sent an e-mail to my sister about it, and couldn't wait to watch the show. The day finally came around and I was not too disappointed. It was a great show. A week later, I saw the second episode, which was even better. Then, a week later, I went to watch it, only to find a rerun of Spin City. This amazing show had been cancelled after two episodes. It's almost as if ABC wanted it to get cancelled immediately. They barely even advertised.

Well, at least the six episodes that were made are coming out on VHS/DVD.
