very well done period swordplay fantasy film.The fisherman in his simplicity is a true hero.The unrequited love that dominates throughout is well executed.Maggie Cheung and Anita Mui can duel all day long..Awesome.The villain is well played his skill is evident.musically the score is great..definitely worth seeing love,honour,pace..and great wire work must definitely put this film up there with the better made one of the genre..All hail King Sammo....

Stylish and fittingly well made sequel to a classic.

Much more action and a varied storyline makes the closing effort shine brilliantly.There is a wide array of new characters each woven into the fabric to make a smoother flowing piece.Gentlemen please pay homage to your significant other or else..Brigitte Lin is as always superb.she holds the camera with her patented stare.Sterling swordplay,great music and the support characters make this an enjoyable film..romance and unrequited love abound.The ending is pure magic.Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned..Great film.

jet Li is still his marvelous self..however i have seen him in much better performances(a la Tai Chi Master).There are many sects and factions and it does come together..however it does so in a round about way.I love Sammo Hung in this one..he is unbeatable.Fights are well staged..that boulder theme was interesting.

Superb movie with exciting scenes.Great plot and subtle character development.befits the genre.Wire work done with ease. great costumes and enough wire-fu to definitely rank this film as a tried and true way to present the chivalry/warrior theme. Golden snake style..i love it...
