I haven't seen every single episode of Red Dwarf, but liked the show enough to give this a go when it hit my Netflix queue. The first part is a little slow, and I perhaps wouldn't have gotten through to the third if I had better things to do on a sick day. That said, let me encourage you to get through to the last episode.
The three-part miniseries is really a blended homage to the Red Dwarf series, it's fans, to SciFi as a genre, and to Blade Runner. While it gets occasionally heavy-handed in the reference, it is mostly handled with immense affection, and with winks and nods all around. A clear way to revisit some beloved characters, done with some style. Well worth getting to the final sections.
