What I appreciate about this, new to me, web series is that it's a lot of fun, creative, with strikingly different characters and is definitely not mean spirited. It takes place "anywhere" and revolves around and an Actress (Mary Garipoli) who is trying to kick start her career "again". She's got several wacky friends including "Barbara" who talks thru a puppet! She's hysterical. And then she gets a job on a soap called "The Brash and the Buxom" with it's own Diva star, Sondra Currie (from the Hangover movies). Corinne Shorr plays the Soap's Director and tries to keep everything humming along, though there's always a kink...like a pipe bomb that interferes. The direction is clear and simple (John Gallogly) and the actors each have their own unique characters down. And, of course, it all starts with the writer, Mary Garipoli. I'm eager to see what they do next! You've seen many of these actors on network shows & films ( Corinne Shor, Heather Keller, Sondra Currie, Barbara Mallory and Mary Garipoli).
