Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise (2015)
Where's Laura?!?
In consulting IMDB for cast information, there is a Laura Kohoot listed as playing the part of "Laura," but in viewing, and re-viewing Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise, I have been unable to detect the character herself, or even any reference to that character. As I fall into the demographic of viewers who are not considered to be of bottom-line significance, so much so that CBS bailed from any further production of this series, it may well be that my acuity has fallen too short to detect wherever / whenever it is that the character of Laura is included in the episode. Should anyone know the answer to my question in this post's title, and is willing to educate my "demographic," I would be most grateful!
Finch (2021)
Sequel, "Jeff"?
DISCLAIMER: This movie was viewed using a 3rd-party filtering service, which qualifies this review.
"Finch" is an engaging story that is worthy of inclusion under numerous headings, insightfully taking time to examine real-life motives and interchanges, that are often deemed not screen worthy simply for their ubiquity, that are yet the stuff of Life.
A sequel, by the same Team, and made as deftly, about the further development of Jeff, with Goodyear, and their encounters, could be an interesting delve into more of the inner-space we all explore and share.
The Night Visitor (1971)
New Meaning
It has been thirty years since I first saw this title, at a drive-in movie theater, with my girlfriend. She and I both had eyes glued to the screen. The "feeling" of the setting still lingers and we could almost experience the cold. But what I remember the most is that The Night Visitor gave new meaning to the old line,
"a little birdy told me...".
Superb direction and wonderfully twisting ending!
