Super Friends (1973–1985)

The Best of them all!
9 August 2002
I enjoyed this series of the Superfriends the most when it first came out.Even though as i look back on the show, there were a lot of flaws & mistakes made with the show.If anyone who has taped the shows will see that in some of the storylines, there are some superfriends who are not supposed to be in certain scenes. But nonetheless, this is the best Superfriends series of all, especially without the comedy relief of the Wonder Twins & that Gleek!

Very Hilarious!

Everyone talks about Jerry Lewis films such as "The Nutty Professor","The Geisha Boy",and others. But no one hardly talks about "Who's Minding The Store?"which IMHO,is his most underrated movie ever!Jerry is so funny in this film, you would have thought the Three Stooges should have been in it! The other reason I love this film:Francesca Bellini, who plays Shirley the pretty secretary who wears the very tight skirts.Agnes Moorehead & Ray Walston are great in their respective roles as well, but the climax of the movie will have you rolling with laughter!

For The Hard Core Fan!
25 January 2002
I bought this movie about a year and a half ago and this flick was just what it would be.Mack 10 & Fat Joe are gang rivals who just happen to have a lot in common & more! If you're a fan of "Ghetto Cinema",check it out, though the excessive profanity was a little much, but what do you expect?

Justice League (2001–2004)
Super!
21 November 2001
I've seen the first 2 episodes of the new Justice League, and I already like what I see so far! These new cartoons are more action -packed & exciting than the Superfriends, though I don't want to knock them, mainly because in those days,it was Saturday Morning,& the animators (Hanna-Barbera) were handcuffed to keeping the violence down, not getting the feel as you would from the comic books.Justice League won't disappoint. At least you get those corny Wonder Twins & Wendy & Marvin & their silly pets! My only problem is that they should have gotten Tim Daly to do Superman's voice,as he was very firm presence.

Disappearing Acts (2000 TV Movie)

As real as you can get!
10 December 2000
This was a well-made movie for those who want to see how a relationship is formed & broken.Wesley Snipes plays a struggling construction worker who one day wants to be a contractor falls for a music school teacher played by Sanaa Lathan who wants to be a singer. The two quickly fall for each other. But as the months go by,things fall apart as they both struggle to maintain their personal goals.Snipes shows in this picture that he can be very charming. It was good to see a softer side of his acting ability instead of the usual action-adventure he always plays.Lathan was very convincing in her part & I hope this movie will put her career up.A must see.
