This is a one of the most underrated movies of all time. It's worth viewing if only for the excellent performance of Marcello Mastroianni. It tells the story of Victorine, a girl living in a suburb of a big city. The movie has a surreal undertone and does not explain everything so the viewer can use their own imagination to fill in the gaps. A special mention for the suberb music by Khaled.

Surprisingly entertaining.

After the terrible parts 4 & 5 this is a refreshing and indeed entertaining movie. The storyline is a bit thin, but that doesn't really matter. They should just have made part 1 and this one and they would have given us an interesting duo of light-weight horror movies.

This is a silly movie with one positive element: the music. It spawned a triple album of very fine disco music. So don't watch this movie just close your eyes and enjoy the music (mind you: you have to cope with the silly dialogues, so listen to the album instead)

An excellent story and good acting makes this 'fairy-tale' a joy to watch.
It's got everything you'd expect from the story of the worlds favorite magician: dragons, evil queens, elves, trolls, good witches, betrayal, tha happy ending.
Just one complaint: it's too short.

At last a movie that does not misuse being gay to get cheap laughs.
This movie is one of the funniest I ever come across. Kevin Kline is excellent as the teacher who unwillingly discovers the truth. The other cast members (including Tom Selleck as a Gay reporter) do a good job too. The ending is typical American but doesn't spoil the fun. In stead of making it a tragedy (which would be very easy) you see the people in the little town coping just right with all the change.
This is a movie that every homofobic person should see.
