The Princess Diaries (2001)
A satisfying, appropriate family film. Julie Andrews shines!
"The Princess Diaries" surprised me, as I was expecting a silly children's story. In actuality, it kept me entertained and interested throughout, leaving me very pleased. It's 100% clean - no sex, no language, no violence. A stunning-as-always Julie Andrews carries the movie, but I truly enjoyed the performances by Anne Hathaway as Mia, and Heather Matarazzo as Lilly. Sometimes predictable, but always enjoyable, "The Princess Diaries" exceeded my expectations. I recommend it highly to anyone looking for a clean, funny, sweet, charming, satisfying film.
Garth Brooks: Ireland and Back (1998)
The best-selling solo artist of all time does not disappoint!
The best selling solo artist of all time shows the world how it's done in this fantastic concert footage of an Ireland performance. Including snippets of interviews and behind-the-scenes shots of Brooks on the road and preparing for the show, Ireland and Back is a must-see for any Garth fan! After the Ireland portion, the show continues in the States, with special guest Steve Wariner. Don't miss this spectacular example of the talented, amazing, unique, and gifted Mr. Troyal Garth Brooks. I dare you to NOT be a fan after witnessing Garth Brooks in action!
Kill the Man (1999)
Fabulous, silly fun!
Filled with dry humor and laugh-out-loud monologue, Kill the Man was thoroughly enjoyable. Luke Wilson and Joshua Malina are both excellent. Warning: This movie is filled with profanity. However, I recommend Kill the Man highly!
