Where's the book???
29 October 2000
I was hoping for something more. I didn't mind the views of the townfolk on the effects of the Blair Witch Project. And I didn't mind the 2 second flashbacks throughout the movie. But the movie seem to be cut in the wrong areas. Which was okay with the first on, it wasn't suppose to great big fantastic movie. With a "10 million dollar budget", I'm sorry, I want more. I want a professional completed movie not an independent film (not that there's anything wrong with them).

As I mentioned up above, "Where's the book???", I think it the book the researcher had put together. I don't remember him, or anyone else, calling it that though. I would have like to see more of what happened to them. Did they read from the book that night? Did they summon her spirit? Okay they're suppose to be camping out at the house. I remember the house from the first one, and it wasn't just ruins.

Simply put, I thought this movie missed what the first one was able to do to it's viewers...scare people.

Blood & Donuts is a great "B" movie
11 November 1999
If your tired of watching the same-old vampire gore flick, this is for you. This is for the vampire-movie connoisseur. There are no fantastic special effects, no expensive actors, no real gore scenes. There is "Canadian" humour, which may or not work with our American cousins (or even on some Canadians).

Blood & Donuts features not a classy, good-looking, or powerful vampire. Boya Zsekely is a weak, quirky, and emotional vampire. <That's all I'm going to say about the actual film, since I don't want to ruin it for those of you who haven't watched it yet>

Look for our brilliant Canadian director David Cronenberg in ninth acting position. I love this man as a director, as an actor...I love this man as a director <LOL>. Actually, he fits this film like a glove.

This film is not for everyone. <My wife hated it, but she hates most of my 90+ vampire movies> This movie is a great "B" movie.
