The Other Zoey (2023)

Mostly a waste of time

I enjoyed Ms. Langford in the After series. She is a stunning beauty and engaging actor. I was eager to view another performance by her in with this movie.

Langford didn't disappoint but most of the rest of the actors did along with the weak plot. The other young women actors were unattractive an dull. Mollori Johnson was full of energy and her big afro style hair was prominent. So many of the other actors seems like weak picks in the name of diversity but maybe it was just a low budget film.

I skipped many parts of the film to avoid falling asleep. Given all the weaknesses in the film, it's always a joy to see Langford!

Cleopatra in Space (2019–2021)

Total fail. An abomination

First off, if you haven't read the book series, there's a pretty high chance you would think why is this series so popular, and second, if you have read the books, like me, you would be not only confused, but confused on the storyline. Most of it had nothing to do with the books, scenes that weren't even in the books, and the characters, are even worse than bad. Since when was Akila an alien, and since when was Brian a cyborg? Never, that's when. The only thing about the characters that was accurate was the cats, but that's it. The rest of the character flaws basically define themselves. Last thing, the books are way better than this show. I recommend reading them if you haven't already had your experience ruined by this show.

Finally some good sci-fi in 2003

I have really enjoyed this mini-series. Great plot development and above average acting. I truly enjoy the suspense. One can complain about some aspects, but there are few sci-fi movies that are near perfect.

A note for all you complaining about commercials: get Tivo already. I haven't had to watch one commercial and the viewing experience is awesome. I couldn't imagine watching it with ads.

Any fan of Social Distortion or Youth Brigade must see this. Documents the tour and lives of the band members and roadies. Great live footage and commentary.
