Don't believe the whiners

Solid writing, solid acting, good view on geo politics and Stupid Watergate.

No mentions of the founding fathers being right wing (which they were if you would take modern standards, which isn't fair), or any big historical inaccuracies as far as history was an issue. Some people think this is a documentary, and forget writers have to make it interesting for viewers.

So watch it yourself and don't believe the whiners who feel threatened by strong women, fictional or otherwise.

"Madam Secretary" has consistently been one of the best written an acted shows on television since its premiere. The last episode of this season had all of that and was magnified by Elizabeth's final speech. Even if you hate the show because of your political leanings, please listen to that last speech in full. It is truly apolitical and very moving.

We need Elizabeth

Madam Secretary has been one of my favorite shows since it began. It's been a breath of fresh air to see government officials try so hard to do the right thing - we're haven't had that on television since the West Wing. Watching this show reconnects me to what America stands for, and gives me hope that those founding principles will endure. Please, beg you, keep it on the air. America needs Elizabeth McCord right now. Oh, and how else will we find out if Henry goes scuba diving?

Another episode that spent a fair amount of time discussing the effects of climate change. White nationalism and the threat to liberal democracies is also addressed.

Bring Back the Real Writers

This last 5 or 6 episodes seem to be written by a freshman writing class. The show used to be intelligent; now it's mostly silly. It's had the flavor of a show that is about to end and all the smart people jumped ship early to get started on their next big thing. Stop the juvenile speeches at the end of every show. In the real world they are yawners, on TV they are just pompous. Somebody help this show or cancel it; used to be one of my favorites.

End of The World - Redux

This was quite a funny episode, they really acted like climate change was going to end the world, love it when shows like this make fun of climate alarmists.

Once again the show invents threats from non existent places whilst ignoring it from real places. Liberal agenda has killed this once great show.
