Character development

I love that this show is giving every character a chance to shine. This is a great follow up to seeing GaTa open up and take over a couple of episodes. Enjoyed it greatly.

An entirely necessary episode

I don't know why this is getting such bad reviews. This was easily one of my favorites so far. I thought the break of Dave in this episode was interesting. I am absolutely impressed with Taco's acting abilities and I really enjoyed getting to know this character more. I also think the plot line between Emma and Elz will build in the following episodes. This episode was completely necessary to establish this as a main plotline for the show.

They always hate on the Features
DrPepper_Pig29 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode highlights that this show isn't about just Dave, it's about the people around him and how many lives and situations go into one persons success as an artist or so. I wasn't a fan of Elz before this and barely knew much about Emma but after this ep. And its intimate focus on these 'background' characters, I am now a fan. It has heart even if it doesn't appear so at first.

We know the 1/10 rating peeps on this be skipping the feature artist' verse and telling GATA to tone it down. You haters are the overnight camper posse of this show.

Wood I watch it again? Yeh . Wood I recommend it to a friend? Yeh. Wood I buy one of those shirts? No. Wood I hate on you if you did? No. Wood I hate on you if you hated on someone in a wood shirt? Yes.

Hopefully a necessicity

Not an awful episode but certainly not up to par when compared to its predecessors. I think, and hope, this was an episode to help build the story in the long run. If not, this is sadly a 3, tops.

The romantic tension is cute and quirky but it was overall a way to boring of an episode, no matter how much this helps the storyline. Felt like they could've and should've done better.

Needs more Dick

Warning: Spoilers
The wood shirt was one of the very few bright spots of this episode. Taco is cool and it was interesting seeing the development of his relationship with that girl, but not enough to fill up an entire episode. Not enough Dicky. Trippie Redd was kinda funny

Would give 0 if possible

Worse episode of the series. Basically a ripoff version of friends with benefits which itself is derivative drivel. Incredibly disappointing.

Pointless

Warning: Spoilers
After a slow developing first 6 episodes, we finally got to see Dave rap (briefly) at the end of the sixth episode! I was finally excited to see his career develop... unfortunately, in the episode that follows, we only see him on screen for about 3 minutes. This episode centered around a minor, minor plotline that was only introduced at the beginning of this episode. 7/10 episodes down and what have we learned about him? Dave has weird sexual insecurities and fetishes... Mike is his manager.... He opened in Philly for Meek Mill... that's about it. If this show is supposed to be about becoming a professional rapper from a nerdy Jewish kid, why has only one episode told the story so far? It's boring and disappointing to say the least. His story is so unique, courageous, and interesting. Unfortunately, this show is a brutal representation of him taking the leap into the rap game.

Why?

Would also give zero if I could. I already didn't like this dj dude he's my least favorite out of everyone. Lil dicky is in this episode literally 3 min. Like I'm sorry but I don't care at all about this dudes relationship status. Awful awful episode. Also that's 2 episodes now where he goes the route of making fun of people cause they're white. Like we get it dude your cool and hip and white people aren't. Hated this episode

This episode should be locked in a vault and tossed in the ocean to never be seen again.. Awful and pointless!
