This is a film about a terrorist group, Jundullah, who committed atrocities in east of Iran. A beautiful film made from the angle of love. The first person in the story is the younger brother of a man who the viewers knows he will be arrested by national-police (Abdul Malik Rigiee)
The younger brother is "Abdul Majid Rigiee". Who falls in love with a girl who has deep cultural and political differences with her.
The actors are all great and brilliant.
If you are interested in Iranian cinema, you will enjoy this movie

Great movie by Iranian female director! Elnaz is one of the best actresses in Iran hope to see her in international movies !
If you want to watch these kind of Persian movie check Metri shish o nim and Abad o yek rooz
It's hard to believe that it was made under the regime of IRI...!
MehdiTaba8 June 2021
It's a very good film about Islam, Jihadism, family, love, Rigi family, terrorism, Iran, Baloch culture which is almost always rejected and hidden in the background, unfortunately.
Actually, I, as an Iranian, don't know much about Baloch people, because our government completely rejected them.
It's a very well-made film, so much to the point and with great messages.
It was unbelievable how our regime didn't censor some parts, for example, this one was about real Islam, not the one that has been made by some people and a sugar-coated version of the real thing.
A quote from Abdolmalek Rigi in the film: "Jihad, war and killing God's enemies are a necessity.
We have to fight old and new infidels.
Islam is a religion of war, not peace.
Those who want to combine Islam with liberalism, democracy and peace, are infidels, it is our obligation to kill them."
This is the reality of Islam, if you don't like it so you don't like Islam and these people who are fighting for their belief will harm or kill you in the end. This is reality as you can see in everyday life, but if you don't believe in the things they are fighting for so you have to think twice or at least read your holy book for once in a language that you can understand, not like Iranian people who never read the Quran and respect it always, it's simply nonsense!
I myself as an atheist have no respect for any religion at all, they are pure poison for our mind and society. I know there are some people who never go deep into the religious books and haven't got any idea what they are believing, I can respect these minority but never respect religions.
Technically, this film is strong and meticulously well-made. Another strong work by Narges Abyar. Cinematography, editing and some minor issues were among the weak points of this film.
7.5/10.

A woman who marry a sun from terrorist family
mehrdadzaredoost30 January 2020
The story is based on true story of Rigi brothers however there may be some lies in the story. The movie is about a life of a woman who married to one of Rigi brothers (Rigi brothers are founders of Islamic terrorist group called Jundollah ). Finally you shouldn't expect good actions and designs from Iranian movies.
I'm disturbed

Warning: Spoilers
As a Muslim, when I watched the movie, I couldn't accept the actions of Rigi brothers. There is any else book except the Qur'an which can be understandable so different way by believers. How do they kill the people who doesn't believe as they believe? It's difficult to watch it. There are many life like Faezeh's. I was disturbed too, when I read the book of khalid Hussein. He tells the women's life in his books like Faezeh.
Loved it

Its a sad story, sad based on true story
sailaway_rasmus2 July 2019
Sometimes i asked myself Why?! during this movie people say why this, why that, why¡¡
Its better do not talk about base story, so people might have their own thoughts. Its not for family, and strongly not recommended for kids. I didn't like screenplay cause you cannot breath. it is suffocation, from start to end.
It is good to talk about true stories, but how about viewers, why your viewers must see this story?! Viewers are eliminating by seeing this story. Very good act, good editing except 1shot, good camera. There are too many movies which take 7 , 8 from me. But here, it is not even one star higher than 5.
Best wishes for all people whom try for this movie.
You can not breathe while watching a movie.

Dark, Intensitying and Horrific.
RuralSoul21 October 2020
This movie is so intense and dark that I couldn't even absorb it without pausing. This Iranian female filmmaker is tough as nails in her cinematography. The depiction is so real that it totally nailed the tag 'based on real events'. Certainly tells you that how blind we can be when there's a hope of love.
SAD

This is one of the saddest movies that can be seen and cried many times. A film based on the true story that tells the story of an Iranian woman who fell in love with a terrorist. Afghan terrorist, brother of Abdul Malik Rigi. In this movie, you can see the depth of the terrorist tragedy. They do not have mercy on their families either!
Not really based on reality...

Warning: Spoilers
Throughout the movie there were several times I questioned people's decisions. Many things like moving to Pakistan staying trying to run away and then refusing to run away does not really make sense. I can't really see the cause and effect relationship here. Good actors are playing a poor screenplay here.
Overall I was happy with the movie until I realized Faeze and Hamid were not in love at the first place. Based on Faeze's mom interview on IRIB TV3 Faeze's step dad forced her to marry Hamid.
Apparently this movie is not sponsored by Iran's government. Now you should ask yourself why would anyone spend their own money to make a movie based on truth and change the truth... Seriously why?
