Goofs

Fagan

The Crown

Edit

Continuity

When The Queen goes to bed, the bedside telephone is square on to the bedside table but when Fagan enters the bedroom the telephone is at an angle.

Factual errors

Michael Fagan's MP is shown as a Conservative MP Richard Hastings but this is totally fictional. Michael Fagan's real MP was not a Conservative but actually an SDP MP, named John Grant, who was MP for Islington Central. He never met with Fagan, and only became aware of him after the second break in at the Palace.
The Falklands Victory parade which did take place as shown but not until October 1982, some three months after Fagan's second break-in at Buckingham Palace, not mere days after as portrayed here.
Michael Fagan's second break-in is showing taking place a day after the Argentinian's surrender in the Falklands which took place on June 14th 1982, but Fagan's second break-in didn't take place until July 9th 1982, almost three weeks later.
