Not bad if you can ignore the low budget, indie ... um ... Pittsburgh stripmall esthetic and the getting-to-know-you montages with original (I guess?) but annoyingly stock-musicesque soundtrack.
I kept watching because it's an earnest little film.
The main characters were likable and, since it was listed as a sci-fi film, I knew it was building to a potentially interesting premise about fate and chance and randomness. And I was kind of invested.
Decent (in fact, better than decent) acting. Especially by the main characters.
For their next film(for which they'll, hopefully, have a bigger budget) ...
-better audio -more nuanced soundtrack -more subtle (or polished? I'm not sure which since I'm not a film student) scene transitions.
It was a sweet and relatable love sorry.
Not a big deal but ... I found the doctor's yellow-framed glasses a weird and pointless distraction.
