Loved it, a mix of action and emotion and drama, Bringing back that old suits style which hopefully the writers can continue till the end!

after last week's dud this delivered

This was an excellent ep to lead up to the finale. Unlike last week's ep that tried to develop characters for a series that is ending, this one became really powerful. Bringing back some powerful storylines and truly delivered a great story.

After Mike and Rachel left I didn't they had it in them to give us such an incredible experience that truly moves you and makes you feel amazing after watching it. But this episode really did it for me, and in fact is my favourite all-round Suits episode till date.

I'm the downer

Warning: Spoilers
Good episode for the most part.

One of the best parts was Louis opening with "Stardate 2-0-1-9..." and then listing the baby names. He cracks me up so much and I've grown o just love him. Classic Louis with how he continues to get in how own way.

I also had to laugh a few times. I recently read a Reddit thread about cliches on the show (like Harvey walking into a room and bellowing "What's the problem") and they stood out soooo much.

Anyhoo....the reason I didn't give this a higher score is Harvey and Cahill. They're both competent attorneys. Therefore.... WHY didn't they just keep their mouth shut when Malik was questioning them without counsel? I know Harvey had the throwaway line about nothing being admissible, but he could've given him something to run with at least. I also know it was for the drama factor so they'd have something to run with to fix it so Harvey could win. It just seemed really ridiculous to me.

Also the whole Harvey/Faye battle is just.....frustrating. I know respect is earned. Neither of them seems to know it though. If they'd give a li'l on either side, they'd probably at least be able to at least tolerate one another.

I'm sad that I'm almost finished with the series though. It's been a good one.

"Suits" is back!

After last week's fluke disappointment it appears Korsh and Co are back on track. Despite loathing the character, Malik's presence gives a needed counter dynamic. Also, Cahill and Forstman are always a pleasure to see Harvey deal with.

As for the ending, that didn't need to happen. I'm hoping the remaining two episodes explain why that was vital to the story.

One Step Over the LIne
Hitchcoc25 September 2023
Malik can't just enjoy his life. He is like Captain Ahab and Harvey is the White Whale. He has nothing to gain but vengeance and he orchestrates an attack. Harvey actually is put in handcuffs and spends some time in a cell. He also get his pal Sean Cahill involved in things because Sean has been accused of being a co-conspirator in the prison business. In the middle of all is Faye who can't keep her vindictive nose out of things. She considers Harvey poison, no matter what he has done for the firm over the years. But there is some serious digging when the guys decide to dig deeper into the time fram of significant documents. This is excellent because it brings the show back to the case itself. One little bone about this show is that it seems that in nearly every episode, someone in the firm is in danger. A second case has to do with Louis's sister who was assaulted many years earlier and is about to be beholden to the man who did it. He is part of a merger. Excellent use of brinkmanship here.

Splendid

Warning: Spoilers
It was such a pleasure seeing mallick going to jail for all his vendetta against harvey and being such a hypocrite. It feels like a great start to the end of the era. Hopefully Fae comes to terms with Litt Specter Williams Wheeler (I know Litt isn't there anymore in the title but I wish it comes back) and everyone gets closure.
