An Honorable Attorney

A strong woman lawyer. Independent. Driven. Determined. She's got a past. She has demons. But now she has opened her own law firm. She's determined to carefully choose her clients, and to do her best for them. She stresses honesty.

She's got an unknown enemy, whose actions are increasingly .upsetting. She's curious, then annoyed, then downright scared..

She's got a teenage daughter. She has friends. She has a support system. A wonderful "girl friday' in her office. A female police officer.

It doesn't look like there's a season 2, and I'm very disappointed. I like her and would like to see more.

Stories have no basis in logic

Two things strike you about this French TV series. The first is that the stories have no basis in logic, and the second is that everyone in it has beautiful hair! The stories make little sense, and the way in which the cases are solved leads one to wonder if any of what is portrayed is actually possible within the French judicial system. There is little logic to how the solutions are arrived at, only that they seem to suit the narrative and make for a quick ending. All the actors have beautiful, voluminous hair and are always beautifully dressed, whether in their homes or not! It's a very shallow series, one that lacks sufficient depth for it to be taken seriously as a legal drama!
