Plot Summary

Danzantes tries to unveil the meaning of dance in different societies and for different purposes. An to find this out the documentary takes us on a journey that travels across continents and dance styles: main dancer of the Helsinki Ballet; a company of dancers with down syndrome in Madrid; the director of National Dance Company of Spain; urban dancers in Dominican Republic - The goal is to show the diversity of dance directly related to the diversity of the people practicing it, but also its valuable applications: therapeutic, educational and social.
