- Kenneth Kaunda: Steve, this is a matter of principle. The ANC, leading the people of South Africa, are fighting for what we consider to be a just cause. And so we support them. In spite of all the hounding, the imprisonment, the beatings, the ANC remains non-racial. To me, that's very important. They're looking at man not in terms of color. They don't say all white people are wrong or bad. No. They stand by their principles. They are fighting a just cause.
